I had someone message me saying he wanted to chat because he liked my big calves.... True story: I was creeped out. Also I was so excited I showed my husband. But I didn't add the guy. I've watched waaaaay too many SVU re-runs and Lifetime Movies.

Me? Never ever. I have gone to and had a really good time at strip clubs so I think I can offer a generally unbiased opinion. I had a good friend do it, and she got out of it rather quickly -- it's a very different world and lifestyle -- too easy to get dragged into it, no matter your intentions and willpower. She worked…

Very impressive!! I tried doing P90X and running and just couldn't hack it. Nice job! That yoga workout is killer.

Sunday -- 3 miles Wednesday -- 3 miles Saturday -- 11 miles Kind of a slacker week for me!! School got crazy for a bit, but I'm back on my game now. :) Total -- 17 miles

Bump. I love this thread, thanks!

I love stuff that has the underwear built in -- no creeping! But otherwise, cheeky panties with a little bit of lace usually don't show panty line -- I have a few pairs of the cotton Victoria's Secret PINK that are perfect. I work in scrubs, too, so I use this underwear under those as well!

Haha -- I was just about to post this!! I haven't tried to make them yet, but I have all the ingredients so I should be making them this week sometime. I'll let you ladies know how they turn out! I'm kind of obsessed with Larabars.

I am welcoming back the 80's via my 'citron' colored new Saucony Kinvara 2's. Love them!! I think athletic shoes are the only place neon looks good. :) My kids play soccer and have been rocking the neon cleats for a couple years. They finally sucked me into the trend, I guess!!

Thanks for posting this. I am taking the same method to reparations, currently eating my TDEE - 500 per day. I have gained a bit, which is to be expected, but I'm hoping to see some loss soon! Your post made me feel better about my approach. Good luck to you!!
-
I'm proof positive that you can! I gained 12lbs while marathon training (not muscle, I LOST muscle mass...) I am slowly trying to set things right again.

Oh mah gawd. Geocaching is SO MUCH FUN!! And a great workout!!

*whistles* Wow -- you're a cutie patootie in all the pictures, but what a difference! Looks like way more than 20 lbs. Go on, girl!!

HARDCORE!! I once saw a girl run a 5K using one of those Graco strollers. It was freaking intense.... I was also passed during my first 10K by a guy running uphill with a baby jogger. Parent walker/runners are SERIOUS. :) Get it, girl!

After a long run, your body is primed for glucose (carbs) uptake which will help fuel your next run, and protein will help heal your muscles. I drink chocolate Silk after my long runs -- not a lot, because I'm never hungry after a run -- about a cup. I try to do this within a half-hour of finishing my workout, as that is…

17 lbs is amazing. I'm a little perturbed by all the references to gastric bypass being the 'easy route'... I have a couple friends who have had it done due to medical conditions, and it is NOT an easy thing -- it can be quite dangerous. But you and your friend are taking two very different approaches to weight loss. Her…

I personally just like to drink water! Juice has a ton of sugar which upsets my digestion. I have used Gatorade/Powerade in really hot weather. I used to set out water bottles, but then I hated having to carry my empty back with me the remainder of the run. I finally broke down last summer and bought a Fuel Belt (sexy…

Sunday -- 6 miles (3-mile group run, then a 3-mile run with my son) This is going to be a good week!

Slacker week for me!! But at least I got my long run in... Sunday -- 2.75 miles Wednesday -- 3.25 miles Saturday -- 9 miles Total -- 15 miles
-
Generally, people can't tell how fast/slow you're going just by passing you on the street!! I have never had negative thoughts about someone I saw running. Unless they are wearing jeans, then my negative thoughts center mainly around my own experiences with chafing. But I digress... I recently started a running group for…

Sunday -- 10 miles biked Monday -- rest day Tuesday -- 2.25 miles run Wednesday -- 6.1 miles run Thursday -- P90X KenpoX Friday -- Skipped weights and ate too much fiber, oops Saturday -- 8.15 miles run Total: 16.5 miles run!!

;) I think people that love running, for the most part, love schedules. But schedules are more of a guideline to me. You have given yourself enough time to train. I promise you. No, I pinky-promise you, that these 5 days will not be detrimental to your training overall. In fact, sometimes I think a few extra days of rest…

Hope you feel better soon!! I started a new clean eating dealy-o, and the migraine from caffeine withdrawal kicked my butt. Today was my first run of the week. Tuesday -- 4 miles (hill repeats, like a BEAST!! Or at least, I am sweating like one.)
