  • Metformin is not the answer for everyone some people have some really nasty side effects and you should not be on metformin for long because over time it does cause organ damage. One thing that has worked for a lot of PCOSers is limiting carbs and sugars.

  • Since you are unable to do much with your arms the pool is still a wonderful option. You can walk in the pool or just move your legs. It will take the pressure of actually walking off of your feet.

  • What I have noticed with PCOS is that carbs are my enemy!! When I reduced my carbs it helped a lot. I am currently at a plateau but that is one thing I know worked for me.

  • As long as you eat whats unlimited in the first part you wont feel hungry. If you are hungry you can eat more lean protein and more vegetables you just do not want to stray from the list of items you can eat. Personally all the green tea they tell you to drink made me constantly feel full.

  • I did the diet with out exercising the first cycle. You will be fine. I still lost weight. My personal trainer has 50 people from the gym on this new lifestyle and every single person has had success. It is a good diet for women with PCOS as well.

  • I part my hair into sections and work in baby powder. I have dark hair and no one notices, I wash my hair every other day baby has always been my go to, If you try baby powder and you can see the white you havent worked it in enough, have used too much or didnt put it in the parts.

  • I always put in a lower time on MFP. For instances yesterday I did intense work but only registered half the time. I plan on getting a heart rate monitor ASAP to help give a better estimate on how many calories I truly burned.
