You should also see the sodium content of what you're snacking on. I'm going with almonds for my nut fix. I buy a big bag of the raw ones and then roast them without salt. Soooooooo delicious!!!

I would try to find something that has nutrition info so You can log it and get an idea of how much of an extra workout you might need to meet your daily cal goal. I haven't had a taco in weeks (since my lifestyle change on 9/22/2011), but one of my favorite things to do in the past was wrap a soft tortilla around a hard taco. You might say I like it both ways! :)

3 strips of bacon (cut into chunks if you want). Once they are nice and crispy, drop in some asparagus for a minute or so. Yumm!! Sweet potato is another good idea! Good luck!

Thanks for the ideas in this post everyone! My nutritionist suggested I add some sweet potatoes to my meal plan. The last time I tried to bake them they didn't come out so great. I will try again thanks to this post!

Ooh I like this lettuce wrap idea! @GeoGal, are the other members of your household willing to support you by eating the same meals as you do? I found it tough to eat healthy while I was married because the ex and I weren't on the same page about nutrition.
