  • I like this approach. Personally (and I could be wrong, but...) I think that if the smell isn't present beforehand and is THAT offensive, it could be a medical issue that she can't really help. Either that or she doesn't wash her workout clothes, in which case deodorant won't help.
  • Thanks, Ginger Lolita - I'm not specifically looking for low-fat options, but I am trying to increase my protein intake and I chose the fat-free Greek yoghurt because it has higher protein content. I found it did seem to keep me from morning snacking, as well. I'd been supplementing with a portion of cheese to provide a…
  • Should have clarified, sorry - I'm in a fairly rural part of Scotland so I don't have the same access to certain products that some people might. I'll be in town at the weekend so I was thinking I'd find out if there was anything I could check out. ^_^ I've managed to get my hands on some Alpro yoghurt rather than the own…
  • I'm on my second Implanon and I love it. I do weigh 20lbs heavier than when I first got it inserted but... and I do wonder if this is the case for anyone else.... I got it in the first place because my partner was moving in. It's a well known thing that people do tend to put on a bit of weight when they go from single to…

  • If you're not measuring, then buy a tape measure and start recording your measurements. In the past 4 weeks I've lost nine inches and one whole pound, so it can be a big difference. Take note of your waist-hip ratio too. If I was just weighing I'd have been totally discouraged by now.
  • Oh god, my father-in-law goes by this to the extent that my other half has to cook his dad's pasta in a separate pan because he won't have the water salted... I took them for fish & chips once when they were visiting, and when the girl asked if we wanted salt & vinegar he literally dived across the place on one leg and…
  • Everyone makes their choices in life. Everyone has responsibility for their own choices. BUT Everybody bases those choices on their own life experience. If their life experience is 'hey, this chocolate makes me feel better', and based on that experience they choose to eat chocolate, then yeah, they're making that choice.…
  • Black, no sugar - and I've had it that way since I was 11. Family trait.
