  • No not at all.. it just sweetens the pancake up instead of using the syrup, plus it makes em bigger lol
  • Is your diary open? Maybe we could see what you are eating?
  • Yumm.. I'll share mine in case others want more... it has no flour, but more eggs.. its from the practical paleo cookbook 4 eggs 1/2 cup canned pumpkin 1 mashed banana (to sweeten) 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 2 tablespoon butter or coconut oit ( i use the butter as do not like coconut taste) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1…
  • Wow crazy... now my question is do you find certain meals make you feel fuller longer? LIke the ones with more fat? I do find sometimes I am super hungry hours later and some never, and I always wonder why some and not others? Any insights?
  • OK I just noticed you said you HAD A BABY 3 MONTHS AGO!! give your belly time to get its elasticity back! I started a bootcamp, where we do weights, and strength training about 6 week after baby and this is where I was at 10 weeks post baby- I promise you , gaining muscle is the BEST decision you can make!!! It will take…
  • This is me AFTER I lost 50lbs and before I got pregnant ( working on the last 10 lbs now)... I worked out with weights and kettlebells, and I never heard once I looked bulky or had too big of muscles... the more muscle you have, the more lean and fit you are going to look... plus your body burns more calories in general...…
  • aww that doesn't sound so bad... I bet before you have done much worse... I find now on paleo I start to feel bad when I have a tiny bite of cheese, but then I realize I used to eat crackers covered in cheese whiz and get over it! No one is perfect 100% of the time, so next meal get right back on the healthy train!
  • I am going to disagree.. i lost weight to look better initially. Once you get to goal (and before) you start to add more reasons- get pregnant, compete in a triathlon, keep the weight off, stay healthy etc..... You may start losing for one reason, and end up for something totally different....
  • Incredible! Goes to show when you have the determination you can do anything!! Every run must feel so rewarding to you now :)
  • Don't stop working out!! I was working out until the day before my due date! I was up on that stairmaster trying to get the baby to come out lol! I didn't have to modify my workouts until my belly was too large to do supermans with lol.. I was at a kettlebell gym doing pretty hard workouts... also I swam and rollerbladed.…
  • I agree! I have been solid 2 weeks now and have never felt better ! my face is clearer, my tummy is flat, my bm (tmi ) are more regular lol... I am hardly ever hungry and just can't believe how easy it has been!! I can't imagine going back... I promised myself to give it 100% for 30 days , but i know this will be a part of…
  • I felt great like day 3... its amazing the changes.. although I didn't lose weight the first 2 weeks ( i started crossfit at the same time), my clothes fit so much better and i look better! My skin is clearing up, and I only "cheated" 2x (once a dinner out, and once popcorn at the movies) ... This is the end of my 2nd week…
  • Thanks all... it was a really fun shoot, lots of pics, however only one makes the article !
  • Yes I actually did tons of workouts on the beach, and we used tires all the time for squats and such... it was so fun!
  • Hello fellow tall gals. this is me at 190 lbs And then after a year at 140 lbs I lost the weight in order to get pregnant here I am a week away from delivery and now at around 153 lbs... still working hard to get back into the 140s again sorry for the abundance of photos!
  • white bread and wheat bread cost almost the same... same at brown rice vs white. .. i don't understand why its so hard to do this. Tell your dad to leave one piece of chicken out and you can bake it yourself or bbq it. When I moved back with my parents they ate junk and i just said leave the meat ill cook it myself my way.
  • You will be great. just make sure you can run 10 km . Not even straight, just total. I did the warrior dash a few months ago, and it is very similar, and that was a breeze. Running a bit then an obstacle. Its great because it gives you a nice break in between the running. If you can run on rough terrain even better since…
  • Well I am sure it did prepare me some, but even with all the activity I did I found it extremely hard- but then again, I'd like to see you find someone that says it was easy--- they don't want to make it easy lol... One of the girls I did it with seemed to struggle much less than me on the hills, and she told me that she…
  • Well a lot of the Tough mudders aren't on ski hills- My friend that did this one plus the one in Ohio said the Ohio was a walk in the park compared to this one since it wasn't on a hill.. Since the hills are so steep you can only walk up them, and I had been running up hills here and there, but basically some of the hills…
  • I'm not gonna lie- it was brutal... we were all smiling and laughing the first 2 hour or so, then it was grumpy faces and like - will this torture end! lol.... everytime we thought we were close there was another giant hill !
  • I am 5"9 current weight is 153 goal is to be back at 145 ( i am 8 months post baby)
  • I am 5"9 and started at 190 lbs. I got down to appx 144 before I became pregnant, now am at 153 working on those last 10 lbs.. but very happy with where I am at. here at 190 here at 144 before baby 2 months post baby this is me yesterday.. 153
  • OMG thats amazing! I'm actually doing my photoshoot for women's health next month!! Any tips?
  • I am going to disagree with this... you can get enough vitamin D from foods as well as as little as 15 min outside. I could pull up thousands of articles from doctors and dermatologists as well... bottom line- why even take the risk?
  • I agree! I'm surprised no one has mention how much tanning ages you... You may look nice now. but in 10 years you are going to have tons of wrinkles and gross skin (no matter how much you botox lol) I used to tan all the time when i was younger, and now that I am going to be 30, I have totally done a 180 and wear spf…
  • Rude people... I once picked a treadmill no where near anyone and turned on and pointed a fan directly at me ( i like a breeze lol)... with 10 other open treadmills and older lady ( like 70 years) went to the treadmill right next to me, and then left to turn off my fan lol... I didn't even know what to say! I just finished…
  • I bought one but never used it.. my midwives told me not to until I reached 6 weeks because it can actually cause more damage than good being that restrained right after labour. Just eat well after labour and work out after 6 weeks and you will be fine. I was back in a bikini 2 months post baby and you would never know I…
