The way I saw it served was in little ice lolly moulds, probably about minimilk size... So I think you'd get 8-10 at least. Admittedly that doesn't come out particularly low cal (I'd average say 210 a portion?), but as a yummy treat I don't think that's too bad! I've tried several variations using the *blended* bananas and…

Brilliant - sound very yummy and perfect for when the weather heats up! Thanks

I know a few people have said to monitor salt when you're struggling to lose the last bit - I enjoy hearing the science behind it!

Most people log it as Circuit Training, general. This is only an estimation though, if you want be more accurate you can invest in a heart rate monitor that measures your pulse whilst you exercise, and gives you a more accurate figure for you personally. I was previously logging 20mins of Circuit Training and getting about…

My first goal is 140lbs (from 183), but I'm not sure exactly what weight I'll *finish* on.... I have med-large frame and look ill at anything under 9st (126lbs). 140lbs is the top limit for my healthy BMI so I guess somewhere between 9 and 10stone. This time around though I want to look fit and toned. Last time I was this…

What the previous posters have said - your allowance calculated by MFP already takes into account you want to lose weight and adjusts your allowance accordingly. I used to be in the "why the hell would I eat those exercise cals back" boat, but after not losing for a month, and realising that as I was eating the same 1200…

Fab, thanks for sharing! Definitely one I'll be keeping! :flowerforyou:

Hi, I'm from Berks near London, feel free to add me if you want :) I'm on here more than facebook now and would like to have friends who talk to eachother (there's only a couple on my friends list that actually do comment lol)

Thanks for all your replies! I am on the right wave length then... I don't know why but I've always kept looking at the daily totals at the bottom of my food diary and taken those figures instead of the net cals... Guess that's why I haven't lost in a month! I've been unknowingly undereating!:noway: ----Did your doctor say…

Hi. Most people tend to put it as 20 mins of Circuit Training, General which I think is around the 200cal mark. If you decide you want to know more accurately you can invest in a heart rate monitor which will give you a personal calorie burned figure. (Just bought one myself and it shows I'm burning 373cals for 27 minutes…

Hi, We seem to be pretty similar in size and goals (I'm 5ft3 and 161lbs, also trying to shift the remainder of baby no2's weight!) I have to say the portion control was a big factor that helped me - honestly had no idea how much I was eating before (I remember weighing pasta for the first time and thinking Crikey, that's…

*jaw drops* That is amazing, can't even recognize you from the old pic! Well done!!!:drinker:

Aw that is lovely and so true! Sometimes all it takes is just looking out that window in the morning and saying, you know what, Today is mine to make a success!

Hi I'm on Day 5 and want to say hang in there as it really does get easier the more you do it! When you log it I was told to put down 20 mins of circuit training, general, although I'm getting my heart rate monitor tomorrow so will be able to log accurately from then on.

Hi, Welcome to MFP! You're right about this being a very friendly and supportive place - feel free to send me a friend request if you want a buddy to lose weight with! (Click on my username and Send Friend Request) So in answer to your questions: - Do you enter your weight on here every day? Absolutely not! I don't even…

You look great, your effort has really paid off! Can I ask what height you are? We have similar stats but I'm a shortie (5ft3). Well done again :flowerforyou:

I'm on Day 3 and my legs are killing today! Looking forward to pushing through it though later on! Come on everyone, we CAN do this! Just 20minutes a day is nothing for the results we know we can acheive!
-
Thanks for the support again everyone  @Lolamako - Brilliant links and very useful for me in particular as it's hard grabbing more than half hr with the kids around! And I'd definitely see fitting into it as a motivator - I'm very competitive with myself, and having a tangible goal that will require effort to reach,…

Thanks for all your replies  The wedding is the middle of April, so I'd have to lose the same amount that I've lost already in the same time period so I don't really think that's too unacheivable if I upped my exercise to boost the rate I'm currently losing. I can totally see what you are all saying about getting it…

Fab idea, I'm in!

Count me in too - just taken my "before" pics and hoping to have some good "after" ones to compare to

Wow what a huge loss - Well Done!

Wow you really can see the difference - well done!

As someone already said, everyday is a new day... well I always look at it as why wait until tomorrow? Draw a line under it now and move on immediately. Don't get stressed and worked up about it... I think we all need a binge occasionally... The fact you're feeling crappy about it means your head is in the right mindset...…

brilliant :drinker:

Thanks for all your replies! So it would seem that as near to goal as possible is best then... especially with feeding little still... I shall endeavour to maintain my cals within 100 either side and see how that impacts me... :flowerforyou:

Interesting to hear that.... anyone else?
