  • Happy Monday! Again...New start because this weekend did not go as well as planned....I am having a hard time shaking these last few pounds! I really need to get into a better work out routine. If nothing else I'd rather maintain than gain! Getting excited for Hubby's return! Slowly going to get the house back to normal…
  • PMaria - YAY!!!!! :flowerforyou:  :flowerforyou:  CONGRATS!!! That's is awesome! Now you get to be a double-boarder! you better not leave us completely but hopefully a the rest of us will be able to "cross over" soon! KCurtis - Congrats on AF - maybe we'll be baby buddies! Well, I got a lot done today but…
  • I am a big test <3er too, but again it'll be different for me ... bc obviously once my husband is gone I won't be doing the preggo testing anymore (either A. i'll be preggo or B. there won't be a reason for me to test...) but i plan to still test for O's and keep updating my Fertility friend so that we can try again…
  • True - Up until this month i assumed i'd be 28 days...and ended up at 27 days...we shall see what next month brings! I also wonder, you know how they say that if you hang out with the same women too much you'll end up cycling together...i wonder if that happens in cyber space
  • CD29 on a 28 day cycle? When are you going to test? I love that we all kind of cycle differently (except you me & Erica seemed to be cycling together) so it seems like once a week it's someone's week to test or get AF...getting SO close to when i get to be apart of the "Trying" crowd! I think after looking at things we're…
  • Jalara - I started testing on CD 11 but didn't get a  until CD16. i tested twice a day (between 11am-12pm and then again between 5pm-6pm) and yes, I tested at work, but we have private bathrooms, not just stalls. I think i would be a little more uncomfortable in a stall...but you only have to wait 3-4min so i would…
  • Afternoon Ladies! Hope everyone is having a great day! Awesome to see another new person! (recognized you from the other board glad to see you've come over here!) Terrible day at work thus far...boss is laying down the pressure hard core...I have a little montra i am saying to myself "just 2 1/2 more weeks....Just 2 1/2…
  • Little Spy - I was JUST thinking about you like...5 min ago wondering how things were going since you left the other board! I'm so excited for you! Congrats!!
  • Holy Jeez! What have i gotten myself into...Just registered on FF and um...I'm addicted ALREADY! My husband is going to hate me! Althought i REALLY like knowing this much about my body, I (for the first time in YEARS) literally felt myself cramp a little and went potty and realized i was spotting! Thanks Jenny for letting…
  • Question: When i'm calculating the length of my cycle...the day you start is CD1 right? So CD1 was October 7th and then Monday was CD26 and then I started yesterday so that would mean yesterday was CD1 again but also CD27...does that mean i have a 26 or 27 day cycle? I'm confused...
  • Yeah, my husband's going to come home and go "uhh...why do we already have preggo tests under the sink..." Kinda interesting though, plugged my numbers into a O'calculator based on a 27 day cycle and if my hub doesn't leave until the first week in Feb (which is what the original plan was...ALWAYS subject to change)…
  • Happy Happy Wednesday everyone! Kt4 - I can't agree more with what everyone else is saying. I'm a big advocate of changing up your calorie intake every few weeks. You have to keep your body guessing (whether it's by changing your calories or your workout or both!) I will be doing the same thing probably next week bc i…
  • HaHa Thanks, it's exactly what I need! I text'd my friend and i was like "I've convinced myself i'm preggo" and all she could say was (same as my argument as far as i am the exception to every rule) "well, it could happen, I just have to think about sex and I get pregnant!" (she has 3 LITTLE ones) so she's obviously not…
  • I assumed that with the LH friday at noon and then cramping from about 8am-11am Saturday morning that the cramping was due to O'ing I googled "How long can sperm live before ovulation" www.early-pregnancy-tests.com/sperm.html http://www.babyhopes.com/articles/sperm-survive.html.html Both said 2-4 days on AVERAGE but can…
  • That was the other thing that freaked me out...we used ultra thin NON-lubbed ones (wanted as close to the real thing as possible...:blushing: ) So i'm thinking thin...it could have broken a lot easier...and lube-less there truely was nothing but a thin line of latex keeping those bad-boys in! I always THOUGHT it…
  • Aww...That was really sweet that your DH did that. I know it's probably not what you wanted to hear at the moment but sometimes we all need a slap in the face from reality! You are making GREAT progress! We all have days like that...I need to stop weighing myself so much too...my scale screamed 137 at me this morning and I…
  • Holy Moly! I can't believe how much it costs to have a baby!! I have always been a military dependant. There was 9months between when Tricare dropped me bc i was 23 and when i got married to my military husband that I was on civilian insurance..I hated it. I didn't even know what a Co-Pay was until the first time i got…
  • I forgot to wish Jalara a happy birthday yesterday! :flowerforyou:  :flowerforyou: I'm sorry it was hard for you. Hopefully next month will be your month for BFP and you can use Christmas as your time to tell friends and family! :drinker: I had my early morning class today so breafast was a Non-Fat Pumpkin Spice…
  • Bumping for my topics! 2 months till hubster and I start TTC! Getting close!
  • Goodmorning Ladies and Happy November/Monday! November is one of my favorite months so I am superexcited..plus there is always something about the 1st of the month that makes you feel good bc it's a new beginning and this month it even falls on a Monday!! So, I'm going to bust my butt to lose these last 4lbs...I really…
  • I wear my HRM when I go to Zumba and I burn 550-750 Calories a class. So i'd say a happy medium would be around 600calories. The HRM really is the better way to go for better accuracy, MFP sometimes under/over estimates. I got mine on Ebay for like $40.
  • Boo! My husband's family is almost entirely boys! He has a sister but she is the only girl for like 3 generations of cousins! I'm hoping that when we do get preggo in a few months that it will be a girl...I'll be happy either way and i eventually want one more of each...but i'm itching for a girl next!
  • YAY FOR GIRL! :drinker: :flowerforyou: :drinker: :flowerforyou: When my hubby and I start TTC around Christmas i will kindly ask that you throw some of that double X baby dust our way! I already have my boy...I won't deny wanting a girl next! (I've already told my hubster if it's a boy i'm giving it away:laugh: )
  • Thanks guys! I'm 5'5 1/2, It's actually a total of 23lbs lost since last year, 10 just since May though. I've lost 1.5 inches off my hips and 2inces off my bust (boo  ) since May.
  • I am not a single mom anymore (I was for 4 years), but my husband is in the military and is gone a lot and when he's home he works at least 2 nights a week. As much as it sucks...you have to schedule everything. Litterally every moment of everyday...That's the only way I stay sain and actually i get a little stir crazy (ok…
  • I make my tuna salad the same way (with cottage cheese vs mayo) and it is crumbly however, I like to wrap it in a big piece of Lettuce and make like a lettuce wrap...Super low in calories and it helps to contain the crumbles! As far as blending it...I don't think that would be very yummy, I personally like the texture that…
  • Aww Yessie She is adorable! Congrats! WTG on the natural birth! Sounds like she was just ready to come and wasn't willing to wait on anyone!
  • kkuhly - Maybe take a nice hot bath....include the hubby in this activity :-) the heat/steam might help with both the icky cold and doing something romantic together which could help some BDing to ensue even though you feel yuck. I just got over a nasty cold and although my hub and i aren't TTC for another couple months,…
  • I would suggest to just enjoy the evening. Obviously eat in moderation and only until you're full. However, it is good to have random high-calorie days everynow and again to shock your body. You're body will hit a plateau if you are eating the same amount everyday. So if you've stayed within your calorie limits for the…
  • You can do this with really any fish, chicken or lunch meat...but my favorite us to make tuna salad (with cottage cheese vs mayo) and carefully peel a big strip of lettuce off a head of lettuce and use that to make a salad wrap...you're be amazed at how filling that can be! I pre-make the filling (tuna salad, grilled…
