I lost the majority of my weight doing this. Went from 261 to 180. Once I lost the weight that is when I went to the toning phase by doing the P90X and insanity workout.

Running outside is so much better. I feel trapped when i am on the treadmill and feel like I am on an adventure when I run outside. You can take different routes and the air feels good on the skin. I love it. I run all year round only time i don't is if it is snowing or sleeting.

You can do this. P90X is a great workout. My best advise would be to stick with it, go at your own pace. Don't worry about what kind of numbers the people on the DVD are doing. If you can only do 3 pushups to start, that's OK. You will be surprised at how quickly you will adapt.

I don't believe in "cheat days". You can have "treat days" and not go over your allotted calories for the day. I have been on MFP for a long time now and have never understood why there would be "cheat days", but to each their own. If that is your direction then you made that choice and I don't judge. I workout 6 -7 days a week. If I do take a day off it is usually Saturday or Sunday. My week consists of an Insanity workout followed by a P90X workout. I will usually add a run in there too 3 days a week.
