4lbs in 4 weeks is awesome and also a healthy amount. I would love to consistently lose a lb a week! It's also excellent that you can see in inches that your workout is working. You're on the right track so do not worry

For me it's the guys (and it is usually always guys) that come in do their big macho thing of weight lifting, grunting so everyone can hear them. You don't look good - just because you can lift a double decker bus doesn't mean you are fit. I would love seeing some of these guys run for the bus. And there really is no need…

Hmm I've lost but had a few issues. Gone from 231lbs to 229lbs. Thinking 10 is going to be difficult :frown: but will keep trying

Don't worry I have to concentrate really hard to remember to breathe! I was hoping it will get better the more running I do and will become instinct rather than holding my breath!!

I put up with an idiot of a man for over a year. I heard lies and even though down in my heart i knew it couldn't be true I lied to myself and said that everything was fine. I would say not to tell her just because hearing it from you would be the worse possible way for her to find out. But trust me when I say lies always…

I can put on nearly half a stone, even if I behave myself food wise. Extremely frustrating but at the same time it also comes off really quickly so I don't worry :o)

I started this last week although have been rubbish at going to the gym this week for various (not good enough) reasons. I think running is an excellent way to loose weight and my health freak friends agree! The beginning is a lot of walking but I think once you get to the more running stage weight should start to drop…

Hi, Good luck. You are really lucky that your fiance is also trying to reach a goal. Makes it a lot easier when you have someone doing it with you!

I'm a newbie to this site but I feel off the Weight Watchers Wagon about 2 months ago. Put on nearly a stone and knew I needed to do something about it! I found this site a lot more supportive and I am loving it at the moment  Good luck and feel free to add me!

I also have a huge sweet tooth and I do find the temptation of chocolate hard to resist sometimes! It does get easier though. Good luck with the new healthy you!!

I must admit I don't see the point of using this as a weight loss tool if you are not going to log everything, except for things like gum and the lick of the spoon while cooking.
-
Same as Monkey_moo. But I am a newbie so still figuring things for myself!!

Good luck!

I went to a talk regarding vit. D and SAD, and depression in general, and it's actually been proven to be a load of rubbish (except in the cases where pharmaceutical companies that make the tablets have done the research - funny that!). SAD is actually all to do with psychology rather than physiology. Try doing things that…
