I think it's admirable that you wish to cook for your man, but if it is not something he desires and he is happy with what he's been eating (you are the one who finds it bland and monotonous - not everyone has an adventurous palate), then perhaps there is another way you can show your affection.

I can't quite see a difference yet, but you've already lost 8 lbs and are on the right track. I wanted to mention, make sure you take measurements as well. When the scale stops moving, measurements are a great way to gauge further success. Also, add in a side picture :-)

Go to a store that specializes in running, not a regular shoe store. They will evaluate your old shoes and make you run/walk in the store to see your stride.
