Maybe she's trying to hold her tongue and is still deciding whether your serious about it yet. Which in a way is being supportive if she is trying not to say something negitive. I bet once she sees your commitment she will come around.

If you've already made it this far don't go back and start eating sugar again only to wean. Its rough. Being grumpy, headaches, intense cravings - its all part of the process.

Lady, you deserve better. Move on! I've been engaged 2x. Married my 2nd. I 'love'd' them both but each was a different kind of love. You might not find someone you love like him, but you will find someone you love differently and equally. (8years going strong)

Hello, my name is Amber, 30 years old, married, working and 3 kids under 5. My last 2 babies were over 11 lbs and all three were c-sections. I decided I wanted my life and body back and got serious in September 2011. I lost 5 lbs in Sept and another 5 in Nov and maintained in Dec. We are going on vacation in June and in…

Thank you all for your input ... I think I'll save the $150-200 right now, maybe get one if a plateau really bad again :) I was curious how the Fitbit could be accurate for counting calories burned when you put it in your pocket ... does it seem to be accurate? And how?

My name is Amber. I have been using MFP on my iPhone for 3 months, just logged onto the site this week and found the community. I'm 30 and I want to lose over 100 lbs and run a marathon. I have a busy work schedule and 3 kids, but I'm determined to lose weight and at least 10 lbs by my birthday (Feb 4) loving the support…

I'm starting 30DS on Jan 2. Since they are short workouts (I usually do 45 mins) I'll probably do a 2nd workout on my days off.

I've had 3 kids, and I get asked more now if I'm pregnant than when I was. I think my tummy has just been stretched out for so long there isn't anything to hold it in. Don't get disappointed, use it as fuel for the fire. I to am frustrated that my chest is disappearing, all the more to make my stomach look bigger, but my…

Hey, I'm no stranger to busy myself, 3 kids, 3 jobs between hubby and I (trade off kids/no daycare) I'm on the road to lose over 100 lbs!! My usual workouts include TurboJam, Zumba, BL Bootcamp, JM 30DS and soon to be P90X. I'm starting JM 30DS Tomorrow and would love to help keep you accountable.

Going light, but still eating a regular intervals seems to help keep me within calories. Since I don't usually get enough sleep on days I work its easy to go over my calories when I'm so tired.

Looking for the same. Going sugar free in 2012. Been going strong for 3 months, working out hard and only have 10 lbs to show for it. Had a rough December, fresh start today :-)

[/quote] I agree. I go to work thinking I'm going to burn off a bunch of calories, then I get put in a 1:1.

I also work 2-3 NOCs a week. I've found the only way to stay within my calorie restriction is to eat my dinner later, maybe during my first 15 (this requires taking one) then during my lunch break I eat my snack that I probably missed during the day BC I was sleeping (usually cottage cheese and fruit) Then since I take a…
