That was my situation with my late husband. He was 10 years older than I and we had two children (boys) who are now 16 and 20. Would I try it again? I'd have to think about it the second time around. Although I'm no spring chicken (53 and proud of it ) I don't think I'm ready to play nurse to a man that is 10 years or more…

My spice cabinet- my spices need to be in a certain order ( those that I use frequently in the front and those I don't use often towards the back). I get flustered when others in the house cook and mix up the spices. I'm not a certified OCD, but it's my only little quirk, I don't know why.

Honey, you need to find a new doctor. don't give up. In the meantime, you do your part with what you can to start your body on the journey to weight loss- eating healthier, and exercising, even if it's just walking around the block a couple of times. Don't give up!! You have the future of your body/ health in your hands.…

Due to faulty wiring in the brain , God had to make woman with a perfectly wired brain to point the clutter out! Don't get me wrong, I love men dearly, it just seems to be a genetic thing in most, not all. :laugh:

What I did was to buy two pairs in basic colors to carry me over. Besides baggy, loose pants really do bother and look awful, and you don't get to enjoy your new body. Enjoy your new size! :happy:

I've lost 34 pounds and I'm only 6 pounds away from my goal, so I decided to reward myself with a new car- a black 2012 Buick Verano! I love it! :love:

My biggest NSV has been when friends of my 15 and 20 year old, have seen me recently and have done a double take and told me, " Wow Ms. Davis, you look great," or they have made nice positive comments about how I look to my sons.

You may also go to a seamstress and have her take your dresses in. i know I've done that and continue to enjoy many of my dresses still.

I have Bandit, a 2 year old Boston Terrier. He's the love of my life. I rescued him from a family who could no longer afford to keep him, when Dad lost his job. He's the sunshine of my life, and truly a little bandit ( he's playfully mischiveous)

It's OK to "exhale" when you've been through such a tragedy. But God blessed you with the most beautiful little girl. Continue on your journey, not only for your own sake, but for your daughter's sake.
