Great advice. Not saying you can't know what you want when you're young (I did - married at 23 and been married for 9+ years now) but I will say this: between 20 and 30 your perspective on life changes A LOT. It's normal that both of you are both going to change, and it doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with you. If…

Yes. Just like I'll always keep track of the money that I'm spending so I don't blow my monetary budget. Been maintaining for just shy of 3 years, and have tracked calories the whole time.

It's the weird bounce at the bottom of the splits...

If he's worried about this, I'd be more worried about the relationship than whether or not he understands your methods.

There's a worthwhile message in there that's similar to what's in the book "His Needs, Her Needs". I know I said it before, but I really urge you to read it! It discusses the different emotional needs that men & women have and how important they are to an all-around satisfying relationship. It's a heck of a lot cheaper…

This all the way. Nothing you didn't already know, I'm sure, and sometimes easier said than done. That's why ya gotta keep practicing.

Read the book "His Needs, Her Needs". It addresses situations like what you're describing (and worse). I feel that everyone, regardless of whether they're in a committed relationship and/or their relationship has problems, should read it. You'll understand things about yourself and your man that you maybe kinda sorta…

Pretty much. Though sometimes I get stuck with them (like in meetings where they just wont STFU), in which case I put on my annoyed face and start rifling through papers.

You and the Crue.

Got my license this summer. Wanted to learn to ride so I'd be capable in case something happened while husband and I were out on his bike (a 1996 1500 Vulcan Classic). LOVED it. Now I'm on the market for a bike of my own. Preferably something trail & road ready. ETA: OP, where do you get off sitting in the cockpit of a…

Yup. Been doing it for about 4 years now, and I plan to do it for the rest of my life. I plan to track my income and spending to stay within my monetary budget for the rest of my life, so I don't see why my calorie budget should be any different. I tracked on paper for a couple of years before I started using MFP. There…

You told him you're done with him... then you wonder why he stopped texting you and didn't say hi? Guy is just following directions.

I like to do what I've heard some people call "billy goating". Sounds kinky... but it's just climbing with no special gear.

Hmmm... Hot pants might be too bold to be called "mediocre".

Wow and wow. I had the second one happen to me, too... The fact that even I was out of his league made it kinda funny, actually.

and not so bad! :ohwell:

Zackly.

Not sure about mediocre... will middling do??

Props to you for not taking yourself too seriously to post this! My lifting face is ha-larious. Alas, no pics. Sometimes I exaggerate it just for kicks.

Talk to yourself.

Myself for committing to getting fit. I made the commitment nearly three years ago, and today I'm reaping the benefits of my hard work!

Good for you!! How many years has it been? I'm about 6 pounds heavier than I was at graduation over ten years ago, but I was not this thin and did NOT look this good...
-
Why not just get half your hair permed & have the best of both worlds...?

You look fantastic! YOU. LOOK. FANTASTIC!!!

This looks tastier than that pizza cone from yesterday. I just effing love zucchini...

Except that chocolate appears to be a trigger food for OP, at least at that time. Helps to actually read the whole post before replying.

A few times. Once when a neighbor's house caught fire. Several times for car accidents... Scariest was when a motorcycle went down in front of me... Lots of smoke & flames. I couldn't see where the bike & rider were and I was afraid I was gonna hit the guy.

Yeah. ME.

Do what makes you happy. There are too many crappy things in life that are not optional.
