I live in an Appalachian area of Ohio, just moved here a few years ago and was quite surprised to hear boot used for trunk quite frequently in this area. There are other holdovers of British sayings here too and of course I can't think of any at the moment. I love seeing these!

Sorry, no advice on the marriage issues, just a recommendation to speak with a lawyer to ensure you maintain custody of your children if you do choose to leave.

Oy, autocorrect. Bitter melon not buttermilk.
-
I don't recognize some of these ingredients but they still all sound great! Next time I go to the city I am going to get what I need to try something new. Thanks! And I grew buttermilk last summer and didn't know what to do with it so I will save this one.

I love bread; there's nothing as good as a toasted sandwich on homemade bread! I keep a very sharp bread knife to slice the loaf thinly and use the recipe builder to calculate calories so I can fit it in my day.

I repeated all the weeks, most of them more than once. Slow down on the running portions and remember the walking portions are meant for you to catch your breath so go slowly on them as well. It took me a LONG time to build up to running any distance but now I run all the time and love it.

I used to use it in vegetarian chili. Cook peppers and onions in a Dutch oven, then add beans and canned tomatoes; season how you like. Simmer however long you choose then sprinkle the TVP on and stir it in. Make sure you give it several minutes to absorb liquid before you add more otherwise you wind up with chili paste.

5.61 Yes, it's been beautiful here too!!

Not from Michigan but I spent some time working in Wolverine, just south of the Mackinaw bridge. I loved it up there!

Personally, I am ok to walk on a treadmill and come away pain free but running on one hurts my legs, feet and hips to the point of limping. I don't have the issue outside. Maybe try heading outside and take the time to ease into new exercise instead of going full force and winding up hurt. And new running shoes are ALWAYS…

Yesterday I did nothing. All three of us have strep throat so we spent the day fighting for couch space to nap. 4.32 today Week: 4.32

Finally added up my miles for the year so far. January: 73.23 February: 49.49 March 1-5: 17.67

Yes! It's starting to sound and smell like spring outside! I love this time of year. I can't wait for it to dry out a bit so I can get out in my garden and start looking for spring wildflowers. We've already been hearing woodcocks calling and have caught several salamanders in the pond. Did I say I love this time of year?…

I was going to suggest the same, especially as a new runner. Look into run-walk programs to help you reach your goal.

I use a spibelt as well. It fits my phone, my pepper spray and my car key when I'm away from home. To keep it still, I tighten it then spin it slightly to the side so it sits low and catches my hipbone; can't even tell once I get going. I have a handheld water bottle to carry when I need it.

3.23 walk/run
-
2 miles walk yesterday

I use bribes as well. I like trying different vinegar to change the flavors.
