I don't think fibre has ever made me feel bloated and gassy. I usually feel pretty good after eating fibre... so not sure what it is about those bars, but I've heard they're actually not very good for you.

Two days with nothing but water and maple syrup? Narsty! I would love to do a liquid cleanse but not sure I could last a day let alone two. What about if you drink water and take lots of vitamins and maybe a protein shake made with water (not milk)? Ah, what do I know.

I've been staying at about the same weight as well and I think I need to up my calories slightly. Maybe there is some truth to this whole "eating your excercise calories back" thing.

Great idea! It's the little things, right? Today I went shopping and got some paint & supplies to paint my condo (it's a yellow colour and I HATE it!) and I got a new garbage can. I'm fairly new to this whole thing but since I've started some of my staples are a high fibre whole grain bread. I usually either eat a couple of slices in the morning with eggs or peanut butter or else I have it as a sandwhich for a quick dinner option.
