I've found quite a few 'skinny' recipes for snack- type food including a dip and a dessert. We will be eating that and trying to stay within range. I also plan to workout good and hard that morning! So, if I do happen to go over, it won't be that bad. But, I'm not giving myself any excuses to throw in the towel for a day.

I'm interested in the answers to your questions, too. I have often times stayed within my calorie range but fail to eat 'healthy.'

Thanks for posting this. I bought asparagus for the first time yesterday for tomorrow's dinner and I was going to have to figure out what to do with it, too. :-)

I think that you are expected to do it every day for 30 days since It is a high intensity for only 20 minutes. She also mentions something about '.... if you are on day 5 ...." I plan to do it every morning before work for 30 days straight.

Thanks for this post and HANG IN THERE!! I, too, was feeling the same way this weekend. I have noticed a small change in the way my clothes fit in the hip area. BUT, the scale won't move!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has been this way for 2 weeks and Ive been actually running regularly. I know that I haven't been doing as well with…

I drink water from individual water bottles in order to measure my progress. In the mornings, I try to finish one bottle with my multivitamin, etc. Then, when I get to work, I place 2-3 bottles in my direct view with the intent of finishing them before the end of the day. Then, I may have 1-2 bottles left by the time I get…

I usually gain about 4-5 lbs each time. But, it goes away immediately afterwards so I stay away from the scale during that time.

Don't be discouraged!!! Those extra pounds are probably due to TOM!!!!! Just keep going. Stay motivated. It will pass!

Thanks for posting this question! I have been wondering the same thing. If my machine says I burned 150 calories, MFP may have almost double that! So, in an abundance of caution, I reduce it to the amount that the machine says. It can't hurt doing it that way. I'm scared that accepting MFP numbers may cause me to go over.…

You're not alone. I too want to get up and do a quick workout in the morning. I was supposed to start 11 days ago but nothing yet. A few years ago, I used to get up and do it religiously without a problem. I don't know what happened. I don't have kids at home but I just find that I have a ton of other things to do when I…

Ice cream! I have a horrible sweet tooth! My first inclination was M&M's. I was going to measure some out in little baggies but didn't think I would do it. So, now I have 2 weight watchers dark chocolate raspberry bars when I have a craving. I never even considered giving up my decaf coffee!! Everything else is negotiable.…

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I quit on November 18, 2010 so I'm only 60 days smoke free thus far. But, LOVING it! I feel the same as you do though. I had the same excuse one thing at a time. Well, now I feel confident to tackle the next obstacle .... weight!! I've started training to run for 30 minutes. I've always wanted to run…
