Well...tonight I officially "finished" the C25K program. I actually ran outside. I ended up going about 3.7 miles running all but the last block (which is uphill to my house). I'm going to keep at it, increase my speed and be ready for my first offical 5K on April 7th! (And will reward myself with the Bon Jovi concert on…

The same again today. I have a pretty kick butt stationary bike. I ride it on days that I don't run - easier on the knees. I bike around 11 miles every time - I think that's 18km right?
-
I've never been in the final 8 of anything  Thanks for all your hard work on this!!!
-
I'm in! Starting Weight - 218.8 Thanks!!!

18 km on a stationary bike...

I haven't used an incline. I have heard people suggest putting it on 1. I may try that after this week which is tecnhically my last week.
-
Nope - haven't ran the entire 5k yet....I've only made it about 3.3k so far....I'm hoping to change that this week!!
-
I'm in! I'll be on the statioinary bike until the snow melts! I'll try to be smart enough to convert my miles to km :)

Finished up week 8...one more week in the training and then I will start to work on speed. Thanks to all of your for the encouragement!

Lost 1lb this week - slow and steady wins the race!!!
-
I just finished Week 8, Day 1 - I "ran" for 28 minutes. I covered 2 miles in 32:30. I know that is not fast by any stretch - but it is my personal best. My goal is to run my entire 5K on April 7th. I'll be glad when I can get outside - damn weather in the midwest!!
-
Down 3.4 this week...

Today I 'ran' for 20 minutes. I never thought I would be able to do this. I know it's going to be different once I am able to get outside. We will see how week 6 goes....
-
My 5k is on April 7th. I have never run before and I just finished week 5 of the couch to 5K. I can make it about 2.5K in 28 minutes. My goal is the 'run' the entire 5k. Even if I am the last one, I really want to accomplish this goal! Let me know how your 5K goes on the 14th. I'm excited for your results! And PS - You are…

Just finished week 4, day 3...I look ahead to week 5 and I'll be honest, it scares the hell out of me! I'm going to stick with it and if I have to repeat a week, that's okay! I still have my focus of my 5K on April 7th!
-
Lost 1lb this week...toughest pound yet....
-
Week 4, Day 1 this morning. I'm only covering about 1.5 miles, but I know I'll get there as time goes on. "Running" for 5 minutes, 2 times is my all-time record! I think I can, I think I can, I think I can....
-
I just signed up for my first 5k. It is April 7th - I have 69 days to get ready! I'm excited and scared to death!!
-
I lost 3.4 this week. I didn't do anything different. I'm logging everything and exercising! I hit my 10lb mark so now I get to buy myself something pretty which this time will be a new charm! Thanks for the great support and encouragement everyone!

Week 3 - Day 1 - I actually 'ran' for 3 minutes, 2 times and 1 1/2 minutes, 2 times. I'm only going 3.7 on the treadmill - but this is the most I have run EVER! I'm slowing increasing my speed. I'm going to get there!!
-
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait until I reach that goal. It has been 20 years since I have been in "one-derland" and I am confident I can get there again!!
-
Lost 1.4 this week!! It's okay to be very proud of myself right????
-
I googled the couch to 5k and found a website that showed how many minutes to walk/job on the treadmill. I started my 2nd week today. I'm going pretty slow right now. I've never ever been a runner and by never ever I mean NEVER! Not even when I was younger. With week one, I did the work out 3 times (every other day,…
