It's for you first. It doesn't matter what they say. It's for you. If you've lost and gained before maybe they just don't want to make an issue of it. It could be any number of reasons. Smile, be happy, you look and feel great. When they do notice...they'll be amazed.

I feel the same way when I work out, but you know what it may sound cliche, but the truth is I do it for me not them. Sweat means work. Some of those same people started from the same place you did.
