Standing is not giving you any exercise benefit, cardio benefit, or strength benefit. You can count it if you want, but I fail to see the advantage of doing it.

If you double your calorie burn you're going to get faster results. The weight loss will depend on how many calories you add versus the burn.

You should be working with 1900 if you are serious about 1.5 - 2 pounds per week. 2250 would be more appropriate for a 1 pound loss. Good luck.

I think for your height and objectives that 1700 to 1800 would be a comfortable number to shoot for. The loss rate you achieve is also obviously dependent on your level of activity (exercise). Good luck. GO BLUE

Everybody does - it's a program not a mandate. If you stay focused on your goals you will start to see the results. The results will self motivate you to keep going. No worries - enjoy life and appreciate the fact that you are making yourself better.
