  • Drooling!!!
  • Hey that's not true....I'm from AZ (sadly living in IL) and I am crazy sarcastic!!
  • First, OUCH! Pinched nerves hurt! What was your motivation the first time you started on MFP? Perhaps a mini goal will help, something like logging every day for a month. Making some new friends to get you going? Or maybe a physical goal to achieve?
  • I have the first, had my son before finding out that I had it. No surprise he's a "lonely only" but I cant do much to change it. After taking out the goalie for 5 years we gave up, had I known we would've tried sooner for more :-( Good luck to you, I wish you all the joys of parenthood one day. Today I'm feeling good and…
  • <I follow the rule that if I can't live without it forever I'm not giving it up. That being said, I've found that as time goes by I find myself choosing healthier, more filling options more often but I always save calories for treats. Can't do this without my treats!
  • I use Healthy Life breads (can find them at Wal-Mart of all places). They come in all types from Italian to Whole Grain and only have 35 calories per slice, lower carbs, and higher fiber than most breads.
  • Thanks for the FYI - I tried Better'n Peanut Butter last night, yes it has 1/2 the calories, but blah on taste. I'm probably spoiled by the natural peanut butter for life, I just can't stomach the light stuff. I do plan to try PB2 though because I love PB and want to have some as a regular food choice. Have you tried that…
  • Can't see your pic's but 78 lbs is a great feat! Good job, hope your injuries heal quickly.
  • If your MFP friends judge your food consumption, maybe you need new "friends", just a thought. We're all here for our own reasons and to encourage, not tear down. So eat what you like and do what works for you, you have no one to answer to but yourself. If your cravings fit within your calorie goals, go for it!
  • We put it in the crockpot with pork & potatoes, love it!
  • 30 days of dedication & hard work, you look fabulous! WTG!
  • ^ This works for me, good luck to you.
  • This is what I was thinking. Who's to say a woman couldn't be the spouse of many men? Not for me, but I have no concern over what other adults do with their lives. Open marriages might work a little better though and then Big Brother stays out of the mix. In my line of work (finance) I would not want to unravel that mess…
  • I really want a tattoo from my hip up to my shoulder of flowers and vines, we'll see I'm a bit of a whimp so I may chicken out.
  • Chicken enchiladas, skinnytaste has some yummy recipes for low-cal healthy options.
  • I tend to eat more on the weekends because I have more time to workout, so is a win win for me. I too allow myself a treat or two on those days. Most days I try to eat my minimum calorie for weight loss and have turned off the notification regarding going under or over at the end of the day, (I also have stopped…
  • I have so many, I'm really clumsy and I scar very easily even a superficial scratch like the one I just got on my tricep from drywall corner bead. Its like 6 inches long and didn't even bleed much but I scratched the surface of my skin so I'm sure I'll see the scar for many years to come. I have scars from puncture wounds,…
  • I have a friend who has been on this diet and exercise plan for a little over a year now. Physically he looks absolutely amazing. I haven't asked him about what his doc says but I'm sure it must all be on the up & up because he has a ton of energy and is the picture of health. So I would count these things as pro's.…
  • When I first started last fall, I lost weight at a rate of about 2 lbs per week. Then I hit what felt like a brick wall. Every Friday morning the scale kept telling me the same thing, no weight loss.....for 6 months! Last Friday though I was finally 2 lbs lighter and so darn excited to weigh in that day, my hard work was…
  • I was stuck for 4 months, then 2 months ago I increased my intake from 1200/day to 1340/day and I've lost 2 lbs. It took 2 months to do this even with the change in calories. I hope to continue to lose by following this calorie count and steadily increasing the duration, frequency, and intensity of my workouts. I'm…
  • Thanks for this thread! I had no idea what it meant either, I kept wondering why women were referring to their husbands as ****heads in positive posts.

  • Absolutely! Amazing! Congrats!
  • I'm 5'8 and when I started my weight loss (this time) I was 173 in a 14-12 pant size depenting upon the cut. I am now 17 lbs lighter and in a 12-10 with the 12's being almost too big and the 10's are getting loose. About 10 years ago I tipped the scales at 205 and wore a TIGHT 14. I have the pics to prove it, just don't…
  • I think government has no business telling us what we may or may not do with our bodies. Education is the key, I think they should spend funds on educating the public about healthy food choices rather than restricting the general population from enjoying a sugar filled beverage, which would include beer, wine, and liquor.…
  • LOL - Foot In Mouth on the internet - oops! Too funny!
  • Every time I lose weight mine appears (yes I have a yo-yo relationship with my scale) With toning it all but goes away. We're probably our own worst critics and I know its rough, but hang in there and keep working at it. You will see results with toning exercises sadly it will never go away completely.
  • Saving to read the recipe (sounds awesome) for later. Good luck with your "friends" glad you deleted them. Sorry to hear you were subjected to such judgement recently.
  • I sip green tea pretty much all day long and I do count it as water intake.
