Embrace your hips, I don't have them and wish I did. I would have a waist if I had hips instead of looking like a board or rectangle, urgh.

Everyone looks amazing, keep up the good work

I prefer trails anyday over running on the treadmill or concrete.

Take a nice hot bath in sea salts, eat a tootsie pop, drink a big glass of ice water and log my exercise in MFP.

I was the same way, sign up for one and use it as motivation to push yourself. Make some aggressive goals in terms of your running workouts and stick to them. Then attend the race and focus on having fun and jogging the entire time, you will surprise yourself.

I went today to Run On with the exact same question. They recommeded these. I tried them on and you can tell they will make a difference with heel strike. http://www.brooksrunning.com/Brooks-PureCadence/120104,default,pd.html

My last 5k mud run was on June 2nd and I broke my foot. My next run is on Sept 22nd and I have been training hard for it to make up for lost time due to my injury. Also, everyone but my brother flaked out because they were too lazy to train.

I understand exactly where you are coming from. I mourn my curves for sure!

You look amazing! I worry about my face looking droopy/wrinkled/older after losing so much weight but here goes! Before After ETA: Please ignore my daughter, I am pretty sure she put something in there she wasn't supposed to!

I don't listen to music on the trail for safety so I have to try and beat my time each time I run. I want to see progress each run and that motivates me. I also run with my brother who is 6'3" and his comfy jog is a sprint for me and he is getting quicker. Also, the occasional snake and bumble bees always increase my run…

Please don't use fabric softener on your workout clothes. Also, I hand wash all of my workout clothes in the mango tango gain and lay flat to dry. They smell amazing when they are done!

Just my experience - I had the same concern so I quit taking them at the beginning and lost 83 pounds. It was hard to transition off of them (on prozac since I was 18). The exercise makes a huge impact on helping also when not on meds.

One other thought, you might want to google the model that works fine in water, then look at the back of your watch to ensure it will be fine. It is my understanding that not all can go in the water.

I did wear my polar ft40 in my last 5k mud run race. It was just fine, I washed it out at the fire struck spray after the race. It is still working perfectly.

Trail running by far. We hit the trails 3x per week and run 2 - 5 miles depending on the day/heat. I did 4 miles on treadmill last night and was bored to tears. I love the nature and can't imagine having to run inside or around circles on a track everyday.

I broke both feet.. The left one required surgery and a screw placed and the right one (12 months later) was fractured. With the first I was out for 10 weeks for just walking and it took months to get back on the workout routine, the 2nd fracture I was out 6 weeks and now am 10 weeks back and am just now where I was when I…

I have one and it is amazingly accurate. I have owned 4 scales before getting this one. Please just send it back and have them send you another one. They are just amazing.

Squats and weighted lunges is working for me also!

Everything. I would love PS.

I am 5'8" with a small frame. Pros - I love my long legs, I play volleyball and have good "ups", my pants always fit perfectly for length, I can weigh more and wear a small size. Cons - I "heart" heals but don't like being taller than my husband, I don't feel dainty, I always wanted to be "pocket sized"

I wonder what I look like now that I am at goal. I see the same girl in the mirror that started at 240lbs. So weird.

Aww, be nice to the OP he is sweet. I can't post mine, I am married!!

I alternate and like both. I have trouble sleeping after my 9pm workouts but prefer the evening workouts. 3 days a week I run trails and do it at sunrise due to the heat of the afternoons.

I tried several different snacks pre-workout but find that the belvita crackers keep me going the longest without crashing during my workout. I eat half a serving and they are very light. They are my go to now for prework out and then a protein shake after. They also are great for early morning workouts, I hate eating…
