Well there is your problem, stop labeling food into categories of good vs. bad and eat a diet that will sustain your calorie goals and macros and work in those foods you like... Who doesn't like Pizza??? lol Best of Luck

Hmm... I had all 4 out at once first thing in the morning a few years back and was eating soup and pudding by supper time and soft foods (baked potatoes, peas, etc) the following day and by day 3 was pretty much back to my normal foods.... Never heard of it taking 2 weeks??? Best of Luck

For underlying health issue and getting an overall check up before starting on your weight loss journey I would agree with you but most physician should be the first to tell you that they have very minimal training in nutrition and weight loss. I crawled into my new doctors office at 560 lbs. back in 2009 (never had a…

Yeah like the above comments, are you sure you are wearing the proper running shoes?? If not then go get fitted at a running shoe store... (You sound like a larger toe box would help you out). I don't have any suggestions for the damage done but have heard others have use moleskin as well.... Best of Luck

It is a zero calorie beverage and therefore there is no way it can hinder your diet.... I have lost a few pounds drinking 2 or 3 a day along with my normal water intake..... Best of Luck

Do you have a Running shoe store that you can go too? Mine is about 70 miles away and well worth the trip. They will do a one on one with you and watch your gait, see if you are a heel striker or midfoot striker, etc , and will watch you run. Then they will bring out a few makers of shoes they feel would be best for your…

I want a seat on this bench too, been modding here for quite awhile and can't recall ever hearing Most MFP posters saying that there is no difference between potato chips and spinach... but maybe I overlooked these posts.. I am one who has always voiced there are no good or bad foods except maybe foods we as individual may…

I eat 1400-1600 calories around 6 a.m. and then hit the gym within an hour, and have no issues and do it pretty much everyday. My point is this is only something you can answer for every person will be different in the way food will effect them during a workout.... Best of Luck

I ate kettle cooked BBQ chips, 4 pieces of pizza, and 8 cookie dough Oreos with a glass of chocolate milk... On top of my regular meals today.... I made it fit within my daily caloric intake and enjoyed every last bite... This journey is all about balance and learning to make lifestyle choices that you can do just that…

I think it comes down to personal preference and what you like... I use pure cane sugar and nothing else... I am not into artificial sweeteners or syrups and whatnot... Best of Luck...

If your not willing to fix a plate with portions that are reasonable enough to still enjoy a meal with your family then the best you can do is stand up in front of ALL of them and tell them you are measuring and weighing out your food and do not feel comfortable eating foods you do not know the calorie totals and that you…

Unless you are having problems with eating the things you like in moderation then there is no reason to remove anything if it fits within your caloric intake and macros... Now if you have trigger foods that cause you to overeat, then by all means remove them until such a time that you can add them back in... I don't lump…

I spent the better half of 2 years back in 2007-2009, trapped in my house at 560 pounds unable to walk from room to room.. I wasn't living, I was only existing. Now 300+ pounds lighter and able to do just about anything and everything that my heart desires minus two severely arthritic knee's, there is no way in Heck I ever…

I find it much easier to not lump foods into categories of good vs bad or healthy vs. unhealthy..... I have a set caloric intake with percentage of Macro's that I aim to hit everyday and I eat to achieve that goal with whatever food I choose to fill those calories with... I am Type 2 diabetic also... My breakfast can range…

I don't pay any attention to BMI any more.... I don't feel it is a true indicator of my overall health and well being... Best of Luck

Losing weight should start in the kitchen first, concentrating on a calorie deficit and the exercise is more for overall fitness. Are you logging your daily intake and do you have a food scale and measure and weigh out everything?? That is where you need to start..... Best of Luck

I personally think you should reduce your goal of trying to lose 2 lbs. a week. I would set a goal of 1/2lb. to 1lb. per week no more, you only weigh 170 lbs. and don't have a large amount of weight to lose. Go invest in a food scale and measure and weigh out your food and log everything... Start tracking your caloric…

Do you weigh and measure and log your intake?? Just curious why the diet part is not working as you say... I have always kept the exercise separate from the diet part... I lost weight with a deficit and exercised for fitness......

I have never cut out sugar and I am doing pretty good... Best of Luck

If it is just soreness and not a underlying injury than the best thing to relieve the soreness is hit the weights.... You won't be doing any harm, you just got to work through it.... Best of Luck

What is his reasoning for doing this?? Is it suppose to strengthen your immune system?? If so never heard of that approach... Did he do blood work to test and see if there is a correlation with you and carbs, sugar, etc?? If your picture is current, to me it doesn't look like you have very much weight to lose, I am…

Normally something with chocolate in it or just straight up chocolate... Always have 400-500 calories to eat right before or in bed....

Lost over 300 lbs. eating potatoes several times a week, so I am going to say No they don't cause weight gain, no more so than any other food that would put you in a calorie surplus would cause you to gain weight..... Best of Luck

It comes down to your overall goals and what you are looking to achieve going forward. I personally do more now, exercise wise than I did while losing weight but I have different goals now... I can tell you that I eat more to fuel my body for the increase in both exercise and not being in a calorie deficit anymore. So what…

Yeah my running store is 80 miles away one way and worth the drive...... Best of Luck
