I'm pretty appley too. Sometimes I go with tight leggings or stretch pants under a baggy and long shirt. It's not my cutest exercise outfit, but the pants stay put. I also like drawstrings. Also a thought: are you certain you haven't lost an inch or something? Could be your pants are just too big.

@Ashley: Your nursery looks so nice! Cute and classy :) I have an update for my info since I had my first appointment today and now I know more. I'm at 9 weeks and my due date is August 6. Doc says I need to eat 300 calories above maintenance, which is going to be a little tough for me. Eating only small amounts of food…

I was not interchanging them... I mean love and attraction. My husband loves me and WANTS me. He can't get enough of me. I have put on probably about 70 lbs since we started dating. He has probably only gained around 20 over the last 11 years, and he was way fit in high school when we met. He is still pretty fit and super…

Nurse intake and first ultrasound this afternoon. Any tips? What should I do or expect? I have my list of questions, but I think the nurse will probably say "You'll have to ask the doctor." And I'm not sure when I'll get to talk to her yet. Hopefully, I will have another appointment scheduled to meet with her.

I totally agree with this second poster here! My weight makes absolutely no difference to my husband. I'm not deluded or living a fantasy.... although he is pretty amazing. It's truth. He wants me physically, imperfect body and all. He always has. I have every reason to believe he always will. If gaining weight is a reason…

oh man! I love bananas... and it's my current pregnancy craving. I think the one food on my list is Monte Cristo sandwiches, which is basically a deep-fried, donut-battered, ham and cheese sandwich smothered in strawberry jam and powdered sugar. I had one once years ago. It was amazing and decadent, but I felt that the act…

As to your last question, your significant other should support you. My husband loves me no matter what. He loves all 200 lbs of me. He loved me when I was 50 lbs lighter. He'd love me if I was 50 lbs heavier. There is and always will be love, attraction, and support. That is how it should be. He wants me to be healthier…

It depends on your current weight. I have mine set on maintenance until I get in to see my doctor.

Double post-- Sorry!

Does he like being outside? Maybe it's the wrong time of year where you are, but a jogging stroller might be one solution. Maybe get a sitter a couple times a week for an hour or two so you can get in a good workout and some you time? I'm not a mom yet, but I know plenty of moms. It's not an easy gig! Anyone who says it…

OK! I don't follow that many threads (maybe 5 or 6 at a time before they totally die), so that is something I had not thought of... I had not expected a genuine answer from this topic, but there it is. You should suggest your unfollow idea to the admins. I bet there are a lot of people who would use it.

Shouldn't a person have willpower enough to see it on the list and not click on it?

That's just the most recent one.... I don't know. I don't see why not stop looking at it if it bugs so bad. There was another one about feeding your kids junk food. One woman posted a series of half a dozen one-word responses just to lock out the thread. Ridiculous!

Me too. I only lost 20 lbs... my goal was to lose much more, but the pregnancy happened faster than I expected it to. Add me if you like. Have you seen the Fit, Fabulous and Pregnant thread? It's been pretty helpful for me.

I don't think bodies are shameful in public either. I would not criticize what people wear in public. I am not bothered by skimpy clothes. I would also not criticize an "immodest" breastfeeding mom whose boob may even be completely naked for a whole 5 seconds. It seriously does not bother me. People worry too much about…

Maybe I'm a country bumpkin, but my family had absolutely no issues being naked around the house. Everyone saw everyone naked. I spent a lot of time with my grandparents and cousins. When I was 10-13, I helped take care of my cousins which involved diaper changing and bathing them. I also remember being too little to bathe…

This site is a great tool for anyone who wants to be conscious of their food intake and exercise. I joined to lose weight, then got pregnant, so I'm continuing to track to make sure I'm eating healthy. If you are getting anything out of the tracking or the community, you should be here. Doesn't matter if you want to lose…

Did you tell MFP that you wanted to lose and not maintain? That is how it works. You have 1200 calories to start with. If there is physical activity that burns those calories, you get more.

tchristine24: {quote} I recall one poster saying they didn't care if it was public or private. But I do understand that the majority of people would rather not do it in public, and that is why breastfeeding rooms or family rooms at stores and malls are becoming more common! {quote} I don't know where you are seeing these…

I find that I'm laying on my left side more, so I switched sides of the bed with hubby so I don't have to roll over constantly to get at my lotion (dry skin), tissues (stuffy nose), and water (dry throat). Warm milk with a spoonful of honey helps make me sleepy. My problem is staying asleep.

Also important: Keep the claws taken care of. Get them clipped. Most groomers will do it. I had a kitty that kept getting caught on stuff and tearing it up more than just clawing at it. Taking her to the groomer helped a lot.

Me too! One lives on peanut butter. The other would break the diet to the point of getting sick less than a month out. I think she developed an immunity or something. I'm not sure she lost any weight at all. If you aren't committed to it, it is a waste of time and money.

Glad to hear sound sleeping is coming. When does the insomnia clear up?? It's no fun!

I absolutely hate and am sick to death of moms picking on moms. Some breastfeed. Some don't. Some can't. Some do it in public. Some do it only in private. Some work. Some don't. Some can't. Some have natural labor. Some use pain killers. Some have emergency C-sections. Some have elective C-sections. These are just some of…

Ah, misread that one. I swear there was another one that made me think of my response. My bad!

Also, I think the poster who posted about "child abuse" meant that it is bordering on abusive to not feed a hungry infant just because you do not happen to be in a place that will not draw attention. I do not think they meant to get into a bottle vs. breast discussion....

I have never seen one of these rooms in a Target store. Maybe it's my geographic location, but our Target's bathrooms are nasty and small and there's no place to sit that isn't a toilet... not a place to eat. Also, are walking, talking, and holding up one's own head unnatural? Because babies have to learn those too... I am…

I think you already told her ^ Sounds like she doesn't want to listen, and there is not a thing you can do about that. Just don't let her bad habits get to you.

Sounds like Naked Juice Green Machine, which is quite delicious.
