If you counted how many steps you took in 30 seconds and multiplied that times how long you worked out, that would be a good estimate on how many steps you take per workout.

Just completed week one. It felt good. Day 1: walk: 3.5 run: 4.0 Day 2: walk 3.5 run 4.2 Day 3: walk 3.5 run 4.5 This isn't a bad pace for me. I haven't attempted to run since I was in middle school, so I'm taking it slowly. Pretty happy with the program so far. I have a sneeking feeling I may have to repeat week 2 at…

I'm a working mom of an adorable little guy. I decided I have to do something because my body took a beating during my pregnancy and he's a handful to keep up with....along with balancing everything else and somehow finding time to sleep. Please feel free to add me.

My starting weight this morning (I weighed myself before this afternoon's feast) was 182 lbs. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!!!

The more you use this site, the more you learn about your habits and can figure out how to adjust as necesary. Add me if you would like. I've been on a couple of weeks, but it has really opened my eyes to what I have been doing wrong for so long.

I was doing the walk/jog thing too. My heart rate goes up when jogging, but you use different muscles...so perhaps its a wash.

The cold and rain opening day reminded me why I stay inside during hunting season.

I try to calculate as best I can, pick my sides a little carefully, and perhaps have a little lighter lunch or skip my afternoon snack. In looking up calories I have been amazed that the things I was worried about pushing up the calorie count aren't the big problem...it's always the sides.

I just joined last week and it's been a fantastic program so far! I really like the phone app to be able to track everything on the go. The people on here have been great too. No judging or criticism, just honest support. I'm loving it so far!!

I like to participate in the many hunter's widow's events around the state. Nearly my entire family hunts except a few of us (the smart ones staying warm), so we all get together and go out on the town. I look forward to it every year!! :drinker:

I know there used to be a spring at Petrified Springs Park in Kenosha, but I don't think it is there anymore. I never had it, but I always heard about people going with big jugs to fill.

How much snow do you need before you can snowshoe? I live very near a bike trail, and I would ilke to try some kind of activity on that trail. I'm also considering trying cross country skiing.

I suppose it was going to happen eventually....time to dig out the winter crap. I've been putting it off for as long as possible.:frown:
