It is normal for me, and it's great cos it means I'm never really tempted to overeat or eat bad foods! However it means that my body doesn't trust me to feed it after being so low-cal for so long, and so it's really easy to gain weight and really hard to lose it. Just pick a reasonable cals goal and aim to hit it rather…

BTW this is why I struggle to make my calorie goals, especially when I exercise and my appetite drops even lower! It really is like a diet super-power.

That's low carb for you! Isn't it great? Be careful to keep getting enough calories though, even though you're not hungry - add good fats to your salads and eat nuts and seeds. And great going!

I am a qualified psychologist but there was no money in it so... I got into IT and got heavily qualified and experienced but didn't want to read technical books as a hobby so... Went into IT process and am now managing a team to make sure they deliver the services that we sell (Service Delivery Manager) and generally get…

If your pet sees you, and you break it in bits and give them a piece, then it doesn't count cos all of the calories fall out the cracks.

My best was from the (now ex) father in law. We didn't get along at all, and he bought me a cheap nasty towel set. I don't know if they were just that bad quality or if he sprayed them with something, but no matter how many times I washed these towels, they remained 100% waterproof, didn't dry a damn thing. Wish I'd have…

It also seems to have fixed that thing in advanced step where you step on and off sideways, and it gives you a fail. What do you mean, you don't think I stepped off... I'm not on, where else could I be????? Anyway, fixed :)

What's your BMR? I would think that 1800 cals might actually be too low for you, I know that if I eat too few cals I don't lose. I reckon have a few days that are at higher cals (2000 perhaps?) and you'll pretty much be able to tell straight away if that's helped. You can always drop lower if it doesn't.

There's not really a treatment apart from low-carb, and these horrible pills that didn't help and upset my stomach.

Christmas day should be quite tame and easy to control for me, we're having lunch at my sister-in-laws (which is likely to be bacon and egg brunch, perfect for low carb) and then dinner with my partner and two part-time small boys (some sort of big bird and veggies). Dessert I can have something low-carb... I'm more…

Cheap easy exercise that you can do in front of a TV or to music, is organise yourself a wooden chunk of wood to your required height and use it to do step exercises for as long as you feel comfortable. You can always add more height to up the intensity as you get fitter!

Tonic has a surprising amount of sugar - any spirits with a diet mixer is the best you'll get, and oddly less alcohol content than wine!
