My husband and I both work full-time, and our 1 year old is not in day care. We work opposite schedules to accomodate this, which means when one of us is off work, we have him by ourselves almost all of the time. I get up before he does whether it means 5am on a day I'm working or 6am on a day I'm off, 5-6 days per week.…

Just keep logging everything honestly, good or bad. Seeing the numbers in the red or green always motivates me.

I'd like to join too!

Sounds like fitnessblender.com might be what you're looking for. It's free and you can search workouts by time, difficulty, upper or lower body, and what type of equipment you have.

I was able to run a 5k at the end...that was my only result. I didn't lose any weight because I was still eating too much.

The best thing that will come out of this relationship is that you'll be able to recognize and appreciate the right relationship when it comes along.

I eat a whole grain bagel every single morning for breakfast. I had no idea they were "bad" for you.

I definitely need to come back to this thread.

I finished C25K before I got pregnant, then quit running while I was pregnant/for a while after I had my son. When I picked it back up this spring, I started on week 3 or week 4, I can't remember. I didn't see any reason to start back at the beginning, and I haven't had any problems from it.

A good chunk of it was probably extra water weight you were carrying. It should slow down to a more reasonable pace from here on out. ETA: If it keeps at that pace, you may want to consider upping your calories some, but give it a few weeks and see what your average loss is before you make any changes. You'll probably find…

Wow, I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Woweee look at those smokin' hot curves! Great job girl!

When I started working at Sonic and Chili's in undergrad. I had no idea all that delicious food existed before that bc I was way too picky to try anything new unless it was given to me for free.

Pretty much this. Usually seeing the calories in the red will stop me, but I'm still working on it.

I'm nice :). Feel free to add me.

I just look at my total weekly calorie goal and plan in a "cheat day". My weekly calorie goal is 13,200. I eat 1700ish calories 6 days/wk and one cheat day of 3000ish calories, which brings me to 13,200 for the week. It has been working great for me, and it gives me something to look forward to each week :)

Several of them can also be found on YouTube for free. I actually did one of them just the other day.

Nevermind, just read your whole post and saw you're low-carbing. My suggestion definitely didn't fit that.
-
That's awesome! You should be so proud! Congrats and can't wait to see the pictures.

Personally, I just keep logging, good or bad. Seeing the numbers always helps me stay/get back on track. ETA: Also, I pre-log daily, sometimes several days at a time, which really helps. Then I just have to eat what I have logged.

Bumping for when I get home and can measure!

I love it too! It used to be my main source of cardio, but it's kind of taken a backseat to running and weight lifting. I like all of them, but the elliptical is still probably my favorite.
