I also heard that drinking slows down your metabolism by 70%..... I am assuming that is until all of the alcohol is out of your system

Uggh....that is my worst problem! I am on track all week....exercise......and then when I know I am gonna have drinks Saturday night I spend a whole lot of time exercising....and it is soo sad to see how quickly you consume those liquid calories. Uggh!! But I do love my drinks!

I have been getting up every morning at 6:15 and hop on the stationary bike in my PJs which helps to wake me up and feel energized for the morning.... I would much rather sleep in of course but it does do a body good. Another trick I learned that works for me is to have my boyfriend turn on the bedroom light when he wakes…

I can absolutely relate to everyone here...losing over a 100 pounds...and I have regained 50 of them (and of course lost and gained a few pounds in between) ....so frustrating!

I usually stick with turkey and all of the veggies and mustard on Wheat or Herb and Cheese! But I will tell ya.....I absolutely miss the Chipotle Southwest dressing!

Not to mention......pretty expensive! You really miss foods....even healthy foods like carrots and onions that you can't have on Medifast!!!!

I did the medifast diet for 2-3 months two years ago....I lost 35 pounds on the diet....but I would not recommend it!! I gained back the weight as soon as I returned to a health diet and I even gained additional pounds which was very upsetting! I can agree with how you feel!! But I think it is all part of becoming more self aware...and before we started to make these changes I think denial was the name of the game....and now we are more focused on our bodies and the changes that we are making! Now I see that our bodies are trying to catch up to our change in mind!
