  • Ok! I wanna join! I started this work out awhile ago but never really kept with it. My plan is to do it 2 - 3 AMs a week. I'm starting on Level 1 for now for atleast the first two weeks and see how I do. Here's my stats so far: CW: 144* Bust: 36" Arms: 11" Waist: 34.25" Hips: 40" Thighs: 20" (L) / 20.75" (R) *I will…
  • It's a Friday. I'm the same way . . . looking for something to do so I'm on here all the time.
  • Anything Special K. I love the Fruit n Yogurt the best Kashi Triple Berry, Go Lean Crunch, and Cinnamon Harvest
  • I drink Salada Green Tea with Pomegranate Berry. I like it hot or cold with one packet of Equal (it's a little sweet on it's own). :drinker: I drink a lot of herbal teas and water to help "flush out" the toxins, and it helps to keep me away from store-bought ice teas and juices. I haven't seen any weight change yet . . .…
  • I also find, whether running in spot or running outside/treadmill, a good pair of sneakers can help with shin splints, knees, etc. :flowerforyou:
  • Windsor Pilates
  • I gain 3 - 5 lbs during this time. Best advice I ever got from a friend was to not weigh myself during this time. You always fluctuate because of water retention. I'd wait until your TOM is over before you start making adjustments to your routine. Drink plenty of water and stay away from salt :flowerforyou:

  • Eggs? I never had that with Eggs. How do you cook them? Have you tried 2 tbsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (instead of butter) and some Mrs Dash (season with no MSG instead of salt)?

  • I couldn't have said it better myself. Amen. You're also starving yourself of very important vitamins and minerals needed for your body, mind, muscle, skin, etc. Please take what these friends and supporters are telling you. This is not a balanced "diet". Please reconsider.
  • Celery (or apples) and peanut butter. My go to snack! I really want to try hummus. I hear a lot if people talk about it.
  • "Smooth Criminal" Alien Ant Farm (not the MJ version) "Poker Face" or anything Lady Gaga "For Your Entertainment" Adam Lambert "Gimme" Britney Spears "Dragula" Rob Zombie "Headstrong" Trapt "Ice Ice Baby" Vanilla Ice (gets me hoppin' ) "Dirrty" Christina Aguilara "Sober" Pink "Saint of Los Angeles" Motley Crue I…
  • What's worse is when Dairy Queen makes them into a Blizzard! OMG! I love both the Tagalong and Thin Mint Blizzard. SOOOOOOO craving right now. I didn't get my boxes yet. But I gave them up for Lent, so in my bf's Freezer they will go so I don't touch them 'til Easter.

  • a little bit of Extra Virgin Olive Oil instead of butter. And try to stay away from any salt.
  • I support you! You can do it! I think the choices that you've stated are good ones! Good luck!
  • In reality we're all striving for the same goals. Why be so rude about things? I love this site. We are all on here for the same reasons and support. Keep it up! :flowerforyou:
  • The Boost Metabolism I think is harder than the Shred! Ugh! It kicks my butt! But it's a great work out when you're done. I haven't completed the whole dvd yet. I love the Shred too! I looked into the Cardio Max on Amazon. I'm interested! I just might order it today!
  • There's a lot of conflicting articles out there of what burns more calories or what's more effective for loss: lifting vs. cardio. But the one thing I have read in ALL the articles is that BOTH are needed. I can't believe they said no to lift??
  • I have heard the same thing. I think I tend to agree. I try to keep it to one day a week (Fridays) at the same time every time. It leaves me a little less discouraged. That way, during the week I can focus on my habits and routines instead of just the weight.
  • I am doing the same. I'm not a juice or soda person, but lately I've been finding myself one or two sodas on the weekends. So for Lent I'm giving it up. As long as I have my other sources - water, milk, herbal tea - around I'm not so bad. And I, too, am focusing on my daily intake of my water and I feel like I'm in the…

  • Best advice I ever got from a friend: "don't weigh yourself until after your period ends" I notice a 3 - 5lb gain the week before and a few days during. It's a little discouraging so now I'm trying my friend's advice.
  • It's almost been about 2 months since starting the pill from Depo. With Depo, I had a lot of bloating, cravings, fatigue, PMS-like symptons, and LOTS water retention. They say it may take a little while for the Depo to be totally out of my system, so I might still be "changing". Like I said before, with in a week I lost…
  • I use protein powder, vanilla yogurt, a little milk, and mixed frozen fruit - my fave is pineapple and strawberry! MMMM!
  • LADY GAGA!!!!
  • *sigh* I was on depo for more than a year and the bloating and weight gain didn't happen just over night, it took several months, but man! So when I went for my yearly check up I had a talk with her. I'm on a low dose hormonal pill. The first week I lost 4 lbs and assuming that was water weight. I plan to give it some time…
  • I'm curious myself . . . . I love their products!
  • Apples/Celery with PB For my chocolate lovers side: 100 Cal packs of Mr Salty Choc covered Pretzels or Jello Sugar Free Fudge Mint. Mmmmmm!
  • Best thing is to keep up with your fluids and get REST. Water, Vit C, etc. For me, I find soup is the best way to keep my nourishment up and my fluid intake when I'm sick. When up to it, I make homemade chicken or veggie soup with lots of celery, carrots, chicken, etc. I also make hot-lemon water or tea. If you can't taste…
  • Thanks Ladies! I think this weekend I just might stop by a few dept store and Walmart and shop around.
