I've been doing better. But I know I can go a good stretch and then just go off the deep end. I am IBS-C rather than -D most of the time. But if I get stressed or anxious, I can just feel my bowels start to spasm and I know it's not going to be pretty. Nothing like that happened today, but it was pretty bad. I had a good…

Awesome! I just posted that too, about my treadmill. :)

I have used a HRM and my Pro-Form treadmill estimates of calories burned are usually very accurate, or a little on the LOW side.

That's not "put a bag over her face." That's "put a bag over her body." Yukky - way too thin.

My wife and I celebrate a wedding anniversary January 1! I will make this for her (me!) ... :)

I am from Arizona, haha. But live in the Seattle area. I guess my family is half German, with god-knows-what-else mixed in. Probably some setter or terrier, knowing some of my relatives, haha. Pretty boring here. Run-of-the-mill white anglo computer nerd.

Hey you! I'm 47 too! (And a budding poet too, obviously!) I have been here a month and totally love it. Feel free to add me as a friend. The more the merrier. I'm finding my way (always having despised "exercise nuts," so a bit concerned now that I'm becoming one) ... but loving every minute of it and finding new ways to…

May sound strange, but works for me. Videotaped my fat backside running on my treadmill when I first started... I could only go about ten minutes. Whenever I get discouraged or want to slack off, I take a look at that and it gets me right back to the program. I never want to look like that away. Tonight, I just finished an…

Thanks for adding me as a friend! I'll always be here to support you! Write anytime! :)

Not me. Seems kinda OCD to me. I just eat small portions.

Couple of small things. We have totally made it not about what we "get" but the time we spend as a family. It was a wonderful Christmas!

Love it! Signed, a fellow data geek, who databases his weight objectives and calorie counts in recipes. :)

I log my food before I eat it. Then I know what to eat. Did that on Thanksgiving and plan on doing that tomorrow, too. :)

Keep up the good work! I haven't done that (what you described) but I have grabbed for food I shouldn't be eating ... I used to be fond of Slim Jim's and Pepperoni sticks. Sometimes, I get one. That happened at work last week. Midway through it, I looked at the nutrition label and threw half of it in the garbage. :)

Hello back from the Pacific Northwest! I'm in Port Orchard, Washington! I've been on MFP for a month. Feel free to friend me if you like! I have three daughters and am glad they are not 5 anymore! Oldest is 20, youngest 17. :)

Slim Jim sticks and beef jerky. I have three daughters and they LOVE jerky in their stockings!

That's also an OMG! That is so sad ... happens way too often. :(

I think I am addicted, but I don't go to the gym. I have the equipment in a grand room at the house, but I'm there all the time ...

I wouldn't go without one.

I can't drink tequila - it makes me take my pants off. Seriously, it affects me in a very bad way. Whiskey is okay and that's funny, because of the stereotype that whiskey makes men nasty and confrontational. I just get goofy. Tequila puts me on the prowl. Vodka just gives me a headache.

I love whiskey and single-malt scotch. I drink the single-malts with water and ice. For whiskey, I mix with water and lemon juice. I can have ten in one hi-brow evening and not exceed my calorie limit, so long as I exercise and eat very nutritional food for a few days before and after. Lord knows, I do that all too often.…

This is an Indian dish called "Raita." We eat it all the time and trust me, if I can eat it, it's gut friendly - so long as you can tolerate greek yogurt... 2 cups Plain Greek yogurt 1 Cucumber, chopped 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped tomato 1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped Hot peppers to taste (optional) Prepare all…

Depends on what you mean by 'have' .... :)
