Are you changing the amount of calories on a daily basis? Also, do you you still end up consuming the same amount of calories per week as you would if you just follow your daily calorie goal? I've been pretty much plataued for a few months, a couple of weeks ago I changed my goals to lose 1/2 pound a week instead of 1…

Congratulations!!! You're doing great!

Sometimes you're going to fall off track, you still need to eat back you exercise calories. It's funny after awhile our bodies reject the "good" stuff that we used to eat.

I have heard there are benefits to apple cider vinegar and I believe they do come in a pill format so you don't have to choke it down.

Bump....training for my first full later this year. I've been at a plateau for quite awhile and was hoping that when I started my longer runs I would start seeing the weight drop.
-
Every night I post the weight in my notes and save it. Lately it's not been accurate but it was for awhile in the beginning.

Thanks for all of your input. I think that I'm leaning towards sleeveless since most of the I'd be doing will be during warmer months where the water should be somewhat warm. Also it sounds like transition would be much easier.

Welcome to the club!!! Yes, I've lost a few and in the summer time you just paint one on  .

Sounds like a good plan.....I would never be able to get down that much water during a race! Good Luck

Sometimes when I tie my shoes too tight, I'll get pain on the top of my foot and my toes will go numb. This is usually when I run, sorry, probably not much help.

You should be fine....Good Luck!!!

I'm similar in height and weight (in the 140's). I've been bouncing back and forth for a couple of months with the same 3-4 lbs. I readjusted to lose 1/2 pond a week and it adjusted my daily calories to 1600 a day. I think that 1650 is good, you'll never get to where you want to be if you're starving everyday.

I just not even an hour ago changed my weight loss goal from 1 pound a week to 1/2 pound a week to try and jump start it again. I've been hoovering around the same 3-4lbs for the last 2 months. The frustrating thing is at the end of the day, if every day were like today, I should be about 7 pounds lighter. I usually come…

I'm planning on this being my first full marathon. I'm waiting for the course to come out to see how flat or hilly  it is. I like the R&R series. Did Vegas in December and Arizona (2nd time) in January. I have Chicago, St. Louis, Savannah and Vegas on the calendar for this year. Would love to meet some people that…

WOW!!! You look great, Congrats!!!

Are you wearing the right shoes for running?? This could be some of the cause of the shin splints. If you have been fitted at a running store for shoes, it may be worth the trip.

Hmmm.... No food for 24 hours? I don't think I could do it, especially voluntarily  . I do know of many people that do fasting programs and they swear by them. I'm interested to see everyone's opinion.

You look Great!!! Keep up the good work and you'll be to your goal weight in no time!!

I have the same problem. Last year I took time off because I had a xray, thinking it was a stress fracture which the doctor also thought it was (they didn't do the right kind of xray to see stress fracture). I started back up and towards late fall was having some problems, would hurt when I started running at about mile…

You may want to track your sodium if you aren't already. If you're continuely going over in sodium this may be part of the problem.

I'm a runner that's out for another week or two due to an injury so I started Insanity last Monday. I wear my running shoes but am debating whether to continue with the program while I'm recovering. It seems as though the workouts are aggrevating my injury and I also was wondering if it has to do with my running shoes.…
