I have read that MFP sets protein levels low and I've read of members re-adjusting them. I have not done this for my own protein yet because I rarely meet what is set for me to begin with.

Just keep with the plan, it works. I've seen people lose 100+ pounds on here. There are times that you're gonna want to eat cake and you can just not much of it :smile: . You're doing great by getting out there and walking. Try to increase your water and try to eat lots of fruits and veggies. Your on the right track!!!!

Today instead of running I walked with a friend that just started weight watchers and wanted to get her out for exercise, she did 4 miles. I did 5.04 miles today + 84.97+90.01 Miles MTD 5.04 miles +1431.11=1436.15 group miles MTD

Jeanne- It may take a little time to get in the grove but you'll find what works well for you and realizing calories and portion sizes will make things easier. You're already exercising so you'll be able to add those calories back in. By chance are you from Illinois?

I got in a 17 mile ride last night after a 5+ mile run. I think I was a little ambitious in my running goal for the month, just gratefull that I didn't set a mileage goal on the bike. I think I'd be dead by now :smile: Have a Happy Biking weekend.

I add my food as I eat it. Since I do my the majority of my exercising at night I have no problems staying below calorie intake but don't eat all of my exercise calories because it's too late.

The jewelry stores will have temporary sizers for a few bucks that will be a more adjustable than the plasctic ones.

Great Job on your race!!!! How many times a week are you running your 4 miles? You should only be runnning a few times a week with one long run a week, cross & strength train the other days and rest one day. I would recommend building up to at least a 10 mile run as your long run before the half and that should keep you…

28.7 miles in this morning bringing my monthly total to 146.53 miles.

The only time I wear a HRM is when I go for a run or cycle. This allows me to keep in check with my heart rate, calories, pace and distance. These are usually the only exercises that I will log since I know that I'm exerting myself.

I weigh myself everyday (sometimes twice am & pm) but only log it once a week.

Got in a quick 9.43 miles tonight which brings my monthly total to 117.83 m iles.
