Intermittent fasting is what finally worked for me. I do JUDDD (Dr. Johnson's Up Day Down Day diet), so I really only "diet" every other day.

Exactly the opposite. Our relationship was good before, but it's phenomenal now that we're BOTH in better shape. There's no jealousy on either side, and we both encourage each other.

Trader Joe's has a shrimp stir-fry in their frozen section that's really good and the WHOLE bag is only 175 calories IIRC. Sometimes I add different sauces to it.

I aimed for 100 pounds in 1 year. I lost 97 pounds in a year. I've gone on to lose another 36 pounds without any timeframe in mind.

Absolutely. I could easily eat an additional 500 calories in fruit or vegetables in a day if I didn't.

:flowerforyou: Thanks for this! While I don't recommend consecutive fast (or 500 calorie) days, alternate day or intermittent fasting is healthy and sustainable.

Goitrogenic foods can interfere with thyroid function, but my understanding is that it's not too big of a problem unless you already have compromised thyroid function. Additionally, they are only problematic in their raw state. Even lightly cooked, they are perfectly fine.
