no it is not your "maintenance" calories! its the amount of energy your body uses to stay alive, or what you would burn if you laid in bed all day. maintenance calories are how many calories you should be eating a day to maintain the weight you are at. if you always ate your bmr you would continue to lose weight.

If you are having trouble drinking water try drinking it luke warm. I found once I did that and just gulped it down really quickly, my water intake quadrupled.

I had so many problems with oral contraceptives. I ended up just getting a copper IUD. No hormones and no pregnancies. The initial pain was well worth it.
