Damn! You took mine. : ) But also, "Well, ain't this town just a geographical oddity... two weeks from everywhere!" - Everett McGill "O Brother, Where Art Thou" (yes, it's the Coens) - There are soooo many awesome quotes from this movie I can't even begin to quote them all. I use them in my daily conversations every chance…

Ok, I think I'm going to have to put them on my list! : ) they're worth a try. If I could get used to veggie burgers, then I think I can do it, for 0 calories... I can add spaghetti sauce - I could eat boot leather if you put enough spaghetti sauce on it! : )

Ooohhh! Ken, I've been shopping for Five Finger shoes for months. My son bought some in like October and he loves them. I'll buy some as soon as it's at the top of the list. I want an HRM first. : )

I graduated in 1989. It was a great year for music. I was looking through my IPod play list and I have sooo many of the top 100 songs of 1989 on my playlist now! : ) 3 out of the top 100 that I remember best. this is the soundtrack of my life! 1. Every Rose Has Its Thorns - Poison 2. Lay Your Hands On Me - Bon Jovi 3.…

Peace Love and Juicy Couture is a new one for me, but I like it a lot... My all-time fave which I've worn for years... Michael by Michael Kors. Delicious!!!!

This is a hilarious board post. But I'm all about whatever will bring out the hot guys. : )

ROFL! No doubt! Ugh! Too funny!

As a "fat bottom girl" myself, I love it! : ) Political correctness is sometimes highly overrated.

^^This^^ And good luck!

Sounds like a diet I did a few years ago. It worked great! Of course you wouldn't want to do it for long periods of time, but for 3 days it wont' hurt and it definitely helped kick start weight loss for me back in the day. Obviously, I didn't maintain the weight loss, as I'm back here with 25 lbs to lose. : ( Just don't go…

I haven't cut anything completely out of my diet. I never liked Twinkies, but I eat an occasional sweet. I have just cut back. I find that the thing I've cut back the most on - as far as a daily basis goes, is sodium. I used to be a salt-a-holic. I still miss it, to tell the truth, but I'm convinced that with enough time,…

^^This, this, this...^^^ I LOVE MFP! Yes, it takes time to log, but I often log before I eat, and then I feel accountable to eat what I actually logged. Also, the fact that others will be looking at my food diary and critiquing it is a great motivator for me. I don't know that I ever want to move away from using MFP. I…

I'm big Yea! I haven't done it in a while, but only because I haven't had time. It is ADDICTIVE! And I agree with you about it helping to stay in the zone - as far as cals, etc. I personally think it's the endorphines that the Vitamin D releases that give you that extra boost, not to mentionthat it just feels sooo good to…

I was moaning yesterday because I had to pay $3.17/gallon. I'll shut up about that now. Of course it was with Ethanol. That's in Muskogee, OK - by the way.

So funny, I found myself telling my boys almost exactly this this evening when we went to Taco Bueno and I had what my son called the "tiniest dinner he could imagine". I told him the food has to be worth the calories I'm spending on it. And there are some, I just avoid because I know I'll never stop if I start. : ) Yeah,…

Good luck finding what is making you ill. I agree that MFP should be about a lifestyle change, even if weight is the main reason you're here. Health is so often linked to nutrition, and this site is awesome for tracking that for any reason. : )

That moment when I realized I had jogged almost half of my "walk"! That moment when I had to drag out the "skinny box" - and some of the stuff inside fit! Yay!

I have one (tramp stamp of a butterfly with tribal) and one picked out for when I finish nursing school. It's a gorgeous medical symbol with a heart. Can't wait!

Hmm... I'm very sad that people are feeling bashed on this site. Whether thin or otherwise. : ( I haven't experienced that or seen it directed at others. I've seen very supportive and caring individuals, and some who were funny and had slightly cutting senses of humor - but so far I've been lucky enough to miss the haters.…

This is awesome! Haven't had a great Valentine in 8 years, but my boys are pretty good substitutes. : )

I am totally losing mine, also. I take comfort in the fact that there are some beautiful stars (Kate Hudson comes to mind) who are small chested and don't seem to mind at all. I'm pretty sure that when I reach my goal weight I'll quit wearing a bra for the most part. Last time I was at the weight I want to be, I could've,…

I would count it all, aso. But it's up to you if you want to do all that math... lol

Awesome change! Way to go! I love pics! Well, when I'm losing I love pics. It's so much easier to see progress in a photo than in the mirror, I don't know why. Anyway, you look fabulous! Be proud!
-
^^ Yes ^^ Sorry, we women can be petty and jealous. : ) I'm sure she's proud of you, but it's gotta be hard for her. I get jealous when I see the food diary of my guy friends on here sometimes. They get sooo many more calories than I do and are still able to lose weight. I know it's a sacrifice for them to eat as they do…

Unfortunately society dictates our schedules way too much, but there just isn't much getting around that. I was always a night owl, even as a small child. My mother would put me to bed early, but as soon as the rest of the house was quiet, I was up wandering around. My youngest son is the same way. We've managed to work…

I agree with the above. You can probably lose weight at 1700 cals, especially if you are very overweight (which you obviously aren't), but it will take a while. Which is fine, but you'll just have to be patient and hang in there. Good luck.
