I never eat all of my calories. I eat when I'm hungry and try to make healthy choices. I get the same msg about starvation mode. I don't really believe it. All of the above are great options. I keep 100 calorie snack packs of almonds (Emerald) on hand, as I'm often below goal on fat, calories, and sometimes protein. Do what works for you, I sometimes ignore the "You're going to go into starvation mode" warning. If I'm truly sated, then i don't eat. But that's just me. Good…

^^^This.^^^ It also gives me a sense of accomplishment when I do well, and a kick in the butt when I don't. Also, I try to keep track of my sodium and potassium, and logging everything helps with that.

If I had to completely give up bacon in my life, I'm not sure life would be worth living. That being said, I'm not sure I want it on my ice cream (which is another of my favorite foods). And I don't think I want to try it, because if I did like it, it would just be another food I'm tempted by. : )
