Yes to all that, especially the last bit about the recommendation to nurse until at least 2 years of age.

It sounds very similar to the Fat Flush of a few years back, only you don't have to drink as much cranberry juice.

Given the pervasive nature of wheat in our diet, and the fact that it's relatively high in calories compared to many other foods, there's a pretty good chance that a number of people will lose weight on this diet, especially if they're trying to eat healthily overall. You absolutely could replace the wheat calories with,…

I'm just shy of five feet & would like to weigh between 100 and 105. I'm around 113 now. The smallest I've ever been is 90 lbs, and that was too small.

I suspect if I cut out all wheat products, I would lose weight, but not because of inflammation, because I'd be reducing my calories. At 22, I had a 3 year old, was supporting myself and going to university. I felt grown up at the time. Now, though, I see I had a long way to go & I understand I probably still have much growing up to do. In the words of Bob Dylan, "I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now." I haven't been stellar in my eating for a few days (although I did well yesterday), but I've gained 1.8 pounds and I definitely have not consumed an overage of almost 7000 cals!

And on a more meta level: http://www.ted.com/talks/jonathan_haidt_on_the_moral_mind.html This is a very cool Ted talk about morality. Pay special attention to number 5: purity/sanctity. It would seem we are hard-wired for this type of debate. However, it's important to be balanced, do your research & not just "eat up" what…

Spag squash is great! I actually prefer it now over noodles. Also zucchini: use a veggie peeler or mandoline to cut thin broad strips, steam them, and top with whatever sauce you want.
