I looked at your diary and I can say for myself I would not be able to lose eating that much sugar or processed foods. However we are ALL DIFFERENT and some people can lose as long as they are within their calorie range. Weight loss is simple math so you probably are not burning as many calories as you think. I worked for…

Awesome transformation! You look amazing and it just goes to show you if you want something bad enough you find a way to do it and if you don't you find an excuse!!! Great work and a true inspiration!

Great job! Amazing progress in a relatively short amount of time. Good to know those scales lie to everyone LOL Also that lots of other's get stuck as well in the loss department. That's where I am now stuck:( I'm going to keep on though it will change eventually! Keep up the amazing transformation!

Welcome! This is a great site for motivation and inspiration lots of great success stories. Whether or not you eat back your exercise calories is a personal choice some do some don't. I generally don't unless i need them for a special occasion, but I really don't think it's a problem if you do unless you are over…

not sure how coffee could lead to weight gain unless perhaps it's the cream or sweeteners being used. i personally drink LOTS of black coffee always have and always will. doesn't seem to help me lose or gain. it does ward off migraines for me and i have no need to ever give it up as it is my last vice! i would say if you…

We belonged to the YMCA and in our area it was a great place. However the Y tends to be more expensive than most gyms bc they cater to families and offer so many other programs to their members. We didn't pay extra for classes as members only non-members paid. Not sure maybe they are all different. Our Gold's Gym became…

Some people can eat junk and lose if they stay within their calorie range or WW Points Range. I am however not blessed with that ability. I need to eat high protein good carb food or nothing much happens for me. I worked at WW for years and I saw lots of people have success with eating snack foods and fast food and staying…

FUNNY! Last week my husband picked it up and said you don't need a gym membership just use this damn thing! I'd have to guess it weighs at least 10lbs. I know this much it makes my neck hurt from carrying around on those days that I carry it all day. God knows what all is in there, let's just say I could McGyver anything…

When you can't avoid those things and sometime you just can't, there are ways to make them less damaging to your overall progress. Try to choose the place with a few healthy options, I avoid buffets at all costs don't really like them anyway. Skip appetizers, bread baskets, chips and desserts. Really hard I know, unless…

Any sudden weight gain is usually water. The best thing to do when you eat out to combat the high sodium content is to drink water, to flush it out. The scale might take a day or two to catch up. Weighing your self daily doesn't help at times like these it can be discouraging to see a gain. I would NEVER weigh myself after…

WOW amazing story! Thanks for taking the time to share. You are so right about maintenance, it is much harder than losing well at least for me. Losing is like a game with a pay off, maintenance is hard when you are no longer losing. I understand eating disorders in a way I never did before. I understand how women can get…

You can really see a difference. Sometimes we don't always see it! Great job!

I looked over your diary for the past couple of days. I can only say that even if you stay with in your calorie range if you aren't eating high quality foods you will not be successful longterm. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I worked at WW for several years and there were literally TONS of people who ate within…

Congrats on the decision to change your lifestyle. I smoked cigarettes for 10 years 2 pack per day and quit at 27, the hardest thing I've ever done. I am so very proud of myself for that decision, and I made it solely based on my beautiful little boys who I was afraid I would not live to see graduate high school. I'm now…

YOU ARE A ROCKSTAR! You look absolutely AMAZING, and are a very smart girl to get a handle on this battle while you are so young and can make changes that last a lifetime!!! Way to go!

Since we can't see your diary and have no idea what you are eating, it's kind of hard to say. Have you had blood work to make sure your thyroid is functioning properly? I would make sure my diet consisted of lean protein, veggies, no more that 2 fruits per day, and tons of water. Make sure you are eating 1200 -1500…

What an amazing story! I am so impressed with the amount of effort you put into rehabbing your body not to mention your entire life! It is amazing what people can accomplish step by step if they are just patient enough to wait for the results. What a wonderful example you are to your girls. Wishing you all the best!

You have come to the right place. I cannot see our food diary so I have no idea what you are eating. DO NO GIVE UP!!!! Plateaus can be so frustrating. I used to work for WW and believe me it was the number ONE complaint. It usually happens to everyone at some point on this journey. Sometimes medical issues like thyroid can…

I'm sure lots of people lose weight without drinking 8-10 glasses of water per day. I drink water and lots of it, but I like it so it's no much of a chore. Coffee and tea count towards your water, but unless they are plain they can add another problem. You just do the best you can and try to eliminate the diet soda and…

Thanks for sharing! My goal is 30 lbs. it is hard to see the difference in yourself sometime but seems more real on others! Great job!!!

Well at least your doctor was honest and up front. None of us really like hearing the truth. You have taken the first steps by logging on this site. There is a lot of help in the form of the food database and people willing to help each other and other information, tips and new ideas. I have a bad heart I'm 53, no amount…
