it's the sugar carb addiction in full swing. It's the same reason I have been walking miles and miles these past two weeks to compensate for all the Easter candy.

If your carbs have come from fruits, veggies, and beans I wouldn't worry about going over too much. Its really the processed carbs that you should be careful with. I always look at the fiber to carb ratio. If it's high in fiber, I don't worry to much about it. But I agree with the omelet suggestion.

to be really honest, you can eat like crap and lose weight, but you have to be willing to exercise it off. I like pizza, candy, etc- but I really plan my diary to fit it in. I have also figured out how long it takes me to burn a specific amount of calories, so there are many times when I think "do I really want this food…

ok, I have absolutely no experience with this but, I am going to share my opinion anyway. No. Don't do it. Not only is it not a guaranteed fix, it comes with complications as it is a major surgery. In addition, it changes the way your body processes foods. I use to work out with a girl who had lost a bunch of weight…

change your macros to 30% protein, 15% fat. Also, if you are not exercising, 1237 is not too low. Cardio will burn fat, but building muscle will make you look leaner.

You should be netting 1200 calories or 1200 calories + your exercise, not just eating 1200 calories. I would make sure you are drinking a ton of water to help flush any bloat and plenty of fiber to keep things moving. Also, I have found that 4 meals, 4 hours apart, about 300 - 500 calories each is the sweet spot for making…

Chug a glass of water every time you go to the bathroom. You just have to make it a routine.

the sick feeling might be a lactic acid build up. Water and time will help eventually.

it depends on how fast you walk and how much you eat. I can tell you that getting in 10,000 steps every day will get you between 200-500 calories per day based on how intense you walk. So, if you burn about 300 calories walking, and eat 200 calories less each day, you will lose 1 pound a week.

I would really recommend some sort of tracker to get an accurate idea of how much you burn. I eat my TDE - 20%, but I wear a fitbit, so I have a pretty good idea of what I am actually burning. Also, my burn varies greatly from day to day, and I wasn't comfortable eating a lot more on days I didn't exercise. That being…

two pounds a week can be a pretty intense swap. If you are into big portions and eating a lot, I recommend switching to 1 pound a week at least a first until you adjust. You might also find that 2 pounds a week really makes you cranky and tired, and if that is the case, 1 pound per weeks is just fine. In fact, it is the…

Eat whatever you want, as long as you accurately log it and stay within your goals. That being said, high fiber, high protein food will keep you full longer and nutritionally dense, lower calories foods will help you to feel better and be easier to stay within your numbers.

always happens to me. Also happens in my shoulders first thing in the morning. I always attribute it to air.

Drink lots of water. Log your food accurately. Eat back your exercise calories. Shoot for 1 pound loss per week. Lastly, remember you are trying to cut 3500 calories either though diet, exercise, or a combination of both over the course of a week, so if you mess up, just make the next day better.
-
Why on earth did you eat all that food? I don't mean to judge, but that is well beyond the occasional treat some people talk about splurging on. That was a binge. If this becomes a regular behavior for you, you might need to see a specialist.
-
I would go back to the 1200 and eat all the exercise calories. Also, get some sort of tracker that syncs you can wear all the time to accurately track your burn.
-
This. You will see a lot of people talking about their TDEE and not eating their exercise calories, but that is not the same as the number MFP gives you. If you are following the MFP number, please eat your exercise calories. You will be much happier and able to stick with the program. However, MFP tends to over estimate…

Straight stevia is gross. However, I really like Truvia, which is a blend of Stevia and something else I can never remember. If I can't have my splenda, I will take all the Truvia I can get.

I like the quest bars...but they are really only chewable if you can microwave them for a few seconds. Otherwise it's like chewing on boot leather. I love the Think Think Divine bars as a snack.

I don't really watch my sodium because I don't have any blood pressure issues (and I don't eat a lot of processed foods), however, I once heard you should never eat something with more sodium than calories. Also, from watching my friends diaries (who love to eat out and ramen noodles), I have noticed that it isn't so much…

Since I don't lift on the weekends, I try to weigh at the beginning of the week after I have recovered over the weekend (just cardio). If I weigh any other day, my weight can fluctuate up 5 pounds. This is also why I don't log any weight gains...unless I know I haven't been sticking to my goals.
-
this, and having my pants fall down when I do a lot of jumping.
-
the more I exercise, the less I want to kill other people...although that helps more the week before. Really, I just exercise to off set all the crap I want to eat.
-
can you study somewhere there isn't food? I either have to nap or leave the house in the afternoon to stay away from snacking.
-
as long as you log it, it won't keep you from losing weight. that being said, sugar varies greatly in different types of sweet tea, so I would try to make it at home so you can be sure you are logging the right amount of sweet tea. If you are trying to get off sugar, I really like Truvia. I switched from splenda, although…

I know this has been said many times before, but many of us are hear because we got fat eating plenty of cats. Just add in some of those cats you use to eat and that will help you reach your goal. You can't tell me you have only ever eaten 500 cats a day.

it get's easier. I am the same way. Over time, I eventually discovered I like feeling better more than I like those good, but bad for your, foods. I know it sounds cliche, but eventually it will seem less like a chore. That being said, I still want the junk food occasionally, now I just work out a little more. Of course, I…

Vitamin Shoppe does sell something similar that is a little cheaper and it comes in a smaller bag. I don't remember what it is called, but just ask for the stuff like Shakeology. It tastes ok. Shakeology is a lot better.

pizza.

sugar is sugar. However, eating a piece of fruit also gives you fiber and it less processed than juice.
