  • Yay, way to get things started :) I had my second beautiful baby girl on March 26 & I'm unfortunately recently single so I'm *super* stressed right now. I'm also exclusively breastfeeding & so I was wondering how to count calories for that same as you. I probably won't be able to be really active in this group until I get…

  • I'm trying to figure out something myself right now but I think it's important to find what's right for YOU because if it doesn't work for you then you won't stick with it. Try all these wonderful ideas you have been given & don't give up until you find something that you can stick with!
  • Checking in for the challenge, I did well! I did 30 minutes of prenatal yoga Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday! 5 days! I also did A LOT of cleaning every day which was certainly more calories burned than yoga. I'm definitely nesting like crazy and have been cleaning EVERYTHING. I also felt the baby drop the…
  • I never heard of that before but I just checked for my previous pregnancy, and it was right for DD! It says girl for this time so we will see in a couple weeks :)
  • I would love a challenge, but I'm having a hard enough time making sure I do my prenatal yoga everyday. I've found that the yoga really helps the pain I've been in lately since I'm getting so close it's pretty uncomfortable to do the eliptical anymore :( I had an appointment yesterday and my doctor kind of made me feel bad…
  • I don't think you should have to bring everything to the shower & open it in front of everyone & then have to bring it BACK home with everything else, that is just silly to me. You already know what is on the registry anyway, and I feel like you need to check to make sure you still have things for each price range still…
  • I totally agree. I made the mistake of going through all that with my daughter and almost wound up having an unnecessary c/s. I'm thankful I didn't but I still spent THREE DAYS in labor! I certainly won't be rushing to the hospital this time around.
  • When I was pregnant with my daughter we found out the sex, but this time around we decided not to. I changed my mind (I know, so silly, I only have less than a month to go). This office doesn't write down the sex of the baby if you don't want to know so that they won't accidently tell you. So at my ultrasound yesterday I…
  • My daughter's crib does not have the drop down side & I'm going to be doing the same for this baby. Even before they were recalled I just felt like the drop down side was completely unnecessary and just a safety hazard so I try to steer away from stuff like that. I only paid like $150 for my crib shipped to the house for…
  • I know it's hard but I think the best thing you can do for the baby is try to stay as calm as possible & don't stress.
  • I have my daughter in daycare & I will do the same for this baby. I don't think your fear of nannys is crazy since I have the same fear of nannies/babysitters. I still have not left my daughter alone with anyone except grandma, I guess paranoia is common :)
  • being pregnant right now i know exactly what she is going through. i want so badly to eat healthy but i can't help wanting all these bad things! i'm trying not to give into my cravings but a lot of times the things you crave are the things your body needs in one way or another. i've found that sometimes i can substitute…
  • I would love to work out on my lunch break but I hate getting back to work sweaty & then I feel gross for the rest of the day... even if I shower, you don't stop sweating, ya know? Anybody deal with that?
