I believe the general rule is 1/2 your body weight in ounces of chocolate each day for proper weight loss. 2 lbs works out to 32 ounces which would mean you only weigh 64 pounds. See...?

fitbit was the best thing I ever did. It's the GPS on my weight loss journey. It syncs up so good....I never even log exercise anymore. fitbit automatically calculates my calorie adjustment for the day and sends my surplus burn directly to MFP where it is logged as exercise. MFP in turn sends all of my meal logging info…

Bumpskies! I can see this sort of thing turning into an obsession for me...like learning to make smoothies all over again! lol

...possibly developing in the kidney stones. Watched my dad go through it from too much protein. He was NOT having a good time. If you do start going over 150...make SURE you are working out so it gets used up elsewhere than the kidneys!

My wife and I have two fitness games for kinect, Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout and UFC Trainer. Both of them have a place to enter your weight into and then it calculates a rough estimate. Either go with it and log it like that, or go and get yourself a HRM. I happen to own a fitbit and it does the trick for me.

Actually...you should drink 1/2 of your body weight in ounces of water for the best working body possible. Before you say anything, I KNOW. Right now my goal of 233 ounces/day is an endurance trial! Nevertheless, water is the key. Pure and simple. I mean, if you think about it, our bodies are like 98% water...of course we…

I once dated a girl with a set of twins that were DEFINITELY fraternal. One was an A cup...the other a C. I never said boo about it. Learned my lesson from the woman I dated that had an extra nipple on her abdomen. First time she took her shirt off in front of me I got excited and told her it was cool and that my brother…

As a video game nerd, I have to chime in here. We have both the Biggest Loser game but also the UFC Trainer for xbox 360. Fact is both of them are low as well as some (not all) other fitness "games" out there. They low ball the burn as to not be held accountable for misleading and blah blah blah. Plus for those that DO…

I've asked this a couple of times and nobody has ever replied. Since then I think I have it figured out. People post that when they like a thread so that they can "bump" it up to the top of the boards so more people can see it. At least, that's what I think.

This was a great first step! There are a lot of people here focused on the same goals as yourself and we don't always find that out in the analog world most times. My advice is do something right away. Workout, go for a walk, restrict your calories, but whatever it is, do it now! The sooner you see the slightest bit of…

My wife and I have Biggest Loser for the Kinect and it is AMAZING!!! If you haven't dug into it yet, you will definitely have a love/hate relationship for it. The motion capture keeps you on track like no video ever could. It forces you to really keep your form and get the most out of the routine. It actually isn't even…

I spent some time attending Siena Heights University in Adrian....but we always used to head into A2 when we wanted to get some fun on the agenda.

Just saw what a "burpee" is. My body just doesn't do that yet. lol

My wife and I own the Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout for xbox 360. She's an unrelenting b**** there too! Keep it up!!

Amazing...thank you so much for the post!

I was that way at that age and never did anything about it either. It gets WAY worse if you ignore it another 20 years I can assure you so you are DEFINITELY making that right choice in doing something about it.
