You should all be my friends. Let's all go get a beer.

My thoughts, as well. Also, your username is Escaflowne, and your avatar is DB. I'm a little confused.

P.S. Chrono Trigger is totally available on the PSN store. I recently bought it, FFVII, and (Alright, I'm totally indulging my inner child on this one) the Castle of Illusion bundle. Because I love taciturn heros and also mice.

Chrono Trigger. Five times.

I have pierced ears. I have a pierced navel. I have tattoos. I have been coloring my hair for almost 18 years. To me, that's all pretty much exactly the same as getting a breast augmentation. It's nothing more than turning my body into something that I find more interesting, more beautiful, or more pleasing. I've actually…

I've got an adolescent Rottweiler puppy--He loves to go walking and hiking with me, especially if it's quiet enough to take him off his leash. (I've managed to train him out of enthusiastically trying to great other walkers, runners, and chasing people on bikes--He loves to run--but children and other dogs are proving a…

I love oatmeal! I've never had an oatmeal I didn't like. Sometimes I just need more flavor, though. Recently I've been eating a "raw organic multi-grain oatmeal" (with flax and quinoa) and it's delicious. Comes in two flavors that I've found--Cinnamon Plum and Chai Spice. They're delicious and not too high in sugar.…

I loved Dubai! Though it was FULL of "foreign" (Read: American, British, etc.) food, and the people I was with were too lame to take chances on the local food. The little I did get to try was awesome (Try sheep and goat, if you've never had either) and I found it really hard to stick to my goals. Although I DID get to do…

I once heard some excellent advice, that I keep with me as I try to get more healthy: "Lose weight in the kitchen, get fit in the gym." Of course, being active = more burn = more weightloss, but it really helps me to remember two things. 1) It doesn't matter how much--or little--I work out. I have to eat right for it to…

I'm in! I need as many attainable goals as I can handle this month! I'll try for 30 miles. I'm just getting back into the game, trying to work myself back up to running a mile without stopping. So over the course of the month, hopefully I'll get to above a mile at a time and make up for the initial deficit. Thanks!

"Try" and "F*cking Perfect" by P!nk. I know they're not crazy-upbeat fast songs, but they're a good tempo for steady work, while simultaneously filling me with motivation. Nothing makes me run faster than hearing "You've gotta get up and try, try, try!"

I'm 5'1, but broad-framed and muscular. I weigh in at about 145 right now, but my heaviest was about 150. My goal weight is currently 130, and at that point I'll reevaluate. If I think I want to lose more weight, I'll lower my goal in 5-pound increments until I'm happy with what I see in the mirror. I don't really look at…

Feel free to chime in with your own experiences or struggles, everyone! It's really very healthy to talk about it. I saw my counselor this morning, and she thinks I'm doing very well. She's recommending that I go into an intensive outpatient program--It's 3 to 4 weeks of all-day counseling, therapy, group sessions, and…

Wow, you guys. Thank each and every one of you for the support, encouragement, and advice. I wasn't expecting to find so much when I logged on this morning, and it's wonderful to know that people are in my corner. I went for a (very) short run last night, only about a halfmile, with about a mile total of walking before and…

Thank you so much, SeattleJill, for your suggestions! The idea of just trying to get out of bed for a few minutes is one I think I'll try tomorrow! A strict routine is a little more difficult because of work, but I can probably start small with, say, 6 PM until bedtime at ten, and see if I can incorporate a routine into…

Thanks so much! I'm hoping that it helps me, too. Every little bit helps!

I don't eat a ton of fast food, but less is always better! I'll give it a shot! 1. When I eat fast food, I usually eat Burger King chicken sandwiches, or McDonald's double cheeseburgers. So let's get rid of those places! 2. I'm having difficulty making healthy decisions in my life the last several months because of an…

Well, that's why I'm trying so hard to take care of myself. Proper diet and excercise can help -so- much, plus I deserve to be healthy. Getting there is just so freaking hard.

Thanks so much! I'm really trying! <3

I don't have BPD, but I do have major depressive disorder, and I'm currently struggling with it. I've gained 15 pounds since some stressful events triggered a SERIOUS down-cycle, and am currently trying to fight my way through it into being healthy again. I wish you the best of luck! Keep fighting the good fight! For my…

I'm loving this whole thing. I'm going to look at this every time I try to make an excuse to not go work out! Then, when I eventually have a picture of me working out, I'll post one!

Exception: Collegiate a capella. Those guys can make sweet music with me any day. I don't care if they get me in treble. I'll follow them right off a clef.

I had the misfortune of dating a guy in a band when I was 19 and stupid. Found out later that he cheated on me with no fewer than 9 other girls. Promptly got tested and swore off guys in bands.

I think you're all meaning well, but missing the part where she switched eating disorders--She started anorexic, then went to binge-eating and gained a lot of weight, which she's trying to lose now, so she can be healthy again.

And ignore the myriad people on here who assume that everyone should be well informed as they are. He is right about the BMR and TDEE estimators, though. Look those up and it should give you a pretty good idea of what you should be eating. Alright. I'm an American, so I had to do the conversion. I'd say half a kg is on the…

First of all, congratulations on your recovery. Eating disorders are a complex and difficult hurdle, and I can see how one could go from anorexia to binge eating. I hope you can keep the balance! A big factor in how much you should be eating is how active your lifestyle is, as well as what your goals are. Can you provide…

Oh god, so many things irritate me. I think the thing that gets me the most is when people ask you for advice, then come up with an excuse for every suggestion you make. They want to lose weight and get in shape. AWESOME. They don't want to diet or exercise AT ALL. Get liposuction every two years for the rest of your life…

I've actually done a lot of studying on bras lately, because it turns out I've been doing it wrong my entire life. If you're having backfat/bra bulge issues, the bra is either too large or too small. (If the band is too large, then it could be pulling on the straps the wrong way, and causing the band to ride up, causing an…

I didn't read the whole thread, so sorry if this is already been said. "Nutritionist" requires exactly zero legal certification. It isn't actually a qualified medical field. I could technically call myself a "nutritionist." You could call yourself a nutritionist. The 18-year-old waiting for the bus could call himself a…

I keep coming back to this thread every once in a while, just to see who actually reads it and gets the joke, who actually reads it and doesn't get the joke, and those who don't bother to read it before posting a response. It keeps those slow days going a little faster.
