  • I'd recommend the polar FT4 too... I too got mine off of Amazon. It's basic, but it does what I need it to. :) I love it! I can't workout without it. Actually, I won't work out without it. If I didn't have it, i wouldn't know what exercises were actually getting my heart rate up. Also, I like to keep in my fat burning zone…
  • Yes, like others I'm currently trying to break out of the horrible habit of thinking I need to eat less to get my body to where I want it to, it has not been easy esp. when you try to eat clean. :/ I'm trying to get my net up above 1200 everyday. My goal is to net 1450. You've been helpful! I eat pretty similar. I haven't…
  • I think it becomes bad when you're eating other high-fat, high-salt or high-cholesterol foods.... but if you're keeping your diet pretty decent, and exercising i don't think you should worry about eggs and their cholesterol. I'll eat no more than 2 whole ones per day...but most days when I do have whole eggs i try to keep…
  • wow you look amazing! i'm the same height and trying to get to 130....wondering what all you eat to get in 2000 calories!! I struggled yesterday with getting in 1700. :/
  • Mine are 14" and to be honest I don't have too many problems finding skinny jeans and in fact that's all I really buy. There are some that don't work and the "super" skinny jeans never work. I've been wearing skinnies since I've been in the 150s and my calves were a little bit bigger. I've worn size 8,s and 6s, 4s... Maybe…
  • http://dashingdish.com/recipe/dashing-dish-official-protein-shake/ :) lots of ways to use the powder.
  • You look amazing! Congrats on the transformation...
  • in the past I have beaten myself up so many times (esp when I had so much weight to lose... 20+). However, you can't beat yourself up about it. It will not solve anything. Just face it, you messed up, but tomorrow is another day, and you can get back on track. Don't let this affect your goals.... one day is not going to…
  • Like so many others would recommend, go for the Polar FT4!!! :) amazon.com I previously had an older model and it'd give me more details about my workouts, this one only gives you basic information, however, it's enough... I'd recommend Polar, I'll never switch to another brand! :)
  • Same here, I'm following EM2WL.... I'm eating more and after months my body seems to finally be changing. It's a struggle to get in every single calorie, but eating less was not doing anything for me. I need fuel for my workouts and 1200 calories was not enough.
  • I wouldn't eat back my the calories I worked off ONLY IF I set my activity at something other than sedentary... I don't trust the calculations they give me for being having a light or moderate lifestyle so I put that I'm sedentary and then I'll add in my activity. Everyday is going to be different for me anyhow.…
  • but you're already thin. I'm 5'6 and I couldn't imagine being 100 lbs. or even 105! :ohwell: I'd work on strength, getting stronger (I'm not talking about getting bulky) if I had zero weight to lose.
  • 29 oops i wasn't guessing the person who posted this! thought it was guess the person above you!
  • Thank you everyone! Wearing any shoe with a heel emphasizes the legs and I've got muscles on my thighs as well that doesn't show here.... I guess that's what made it different and the reason it was a bit scary, because I don't wear heels that often, and when I did in the past, it was always only with jeans. What did I do?…
  • It's the calves. I didn't realize that pointing out that I'm insecure about my legs people would think that I'm a bit crazy for thinking that! I didn't exactly workout to get those calves, I use to always be the girl with the big calves back in high school. Coaches would want me on teams because of my legs alone…
  • I assume because so many people notice my legs and I wasn't really too fond of them ... comments weren't exactly negative, but I didn't like my legs to be noticed because they were larger. I've still got larger legs than my fiance! :P But it's all good, I'm finally accepting them a little more each day. Thank you so much!
  • Congrats on your success, you're arms look great in that tank!
  • lol, same here. I'll be a spouse in November though! :P
  • If I don't want to run, I'll create a circuit workout and do each exercise for 30 seconds or a min. I'll do things like jumping jacks, high knees, burpees, front kicks, squat jumps, and mountain climbers which all get my heart rate up, especially burpees and squat jumps.
  • It took me 3 months to lose the last pound i lost last month...and I was netting below 1200, which I'm trying not to do anymore now that i finally understand it. I need more fuel to support my workouts. I'm now doing a lot more strength training and eating more trying to net above 1200 (1360), aiming to lose .5, rather…
  • If you net 1200 everyday, it does not matter how much you worked out or little you worked out... you'll have the same deficit at the end of the week, again assuming you net 1200 everyday.. my BRM is around 1700 so if I net 1200, I have a deficit of 500 each day... 3500 calories = 1 pound. If I worked out and burned 700…
  • you look amazing and much younger!! :)
  • Last year around March (~150) vs Today (134) wow lol It's kind of crazy because it's been a while since I've seen any pictures of myself prior to last fall.
  • wow!! Awesome results, you look amazing! I wish I could commit to insanity.
  • One of the best things I've bought!! :) I originally got it because I hated having to guess 2 oz of uncooked pasta. It was always under a cup cooked or over, or way over, now I can get the correct amount every time! :)
  • Yes and i hit plateau after plateau that lead me to quit time after time. I feel I've had to "reset" my metabolism each time because of it. Currently trying to break the habit of thinking that 1200 is the magic number, because it's not, especially since I'm working out. 1200 is not my magic number and I regret believing…
  • I'm 5'6'' currently at 134. I originally set a goal to 140 pounds thinking I had a large frame, but I think I got a medium frame. I than set my goal to 135, and now I finally set it to 125. BUT i'm not really too concerned with the numbers the scale is giving me. I really want to lose inches. It may take a 9 pound loss and…
  • I don't have a gym membership, however I invested in some dumbbells so that I can get strength training in. I'll do plank rolls, sumo squats with press, single leg deadlifts, wood chops, russian twists....
  • My height and weight is somewhat similar to yours ... I'm 5'6 at 135lbs, and to hear that you're eating 1800, working out 3-5 times, burning the calories your burning, and losing weight is encouraging! Thanks so much for replying. :)
  • Just as long as weight is coming off, I'd be happy. Are you losing .5/week? My goal is 1 lb/week, but I'd take anything I can get, .5 sounds a whole lot better than 0. :)
