When kids say it, I take it as a good "rebukin" (God love their honesty) But when adults say it, it hurts like hell.. When family say it it, it makes me cry. But as good old Blue Eyes says "When I find myself, flat on my face I just pick myself up and get back in the race"

Thanks everyone! I think I've got you all :) I've lived in Toronto and Halifax as well...and a little place called Milton, in Ontario..I think I was "away" for a bout 10 years or so. We moved back home for various reasons: school, raising kids, and its soooooo much easier to buy a house here. I was skinny for 33…

I go by what the machines say....the ellipitical is usually 250-300, a little less on the treadmill....(jogging) (30 mins!) and I just log my half-hour of weightlifting as 100 cals burned. My diary is open to friends...

When I was eating 1600 cals a day, I truly never, ever felt deprived. I was even eating a donut just 'cause I could...mind you, I would definitely go to the gym if I ate a dount.

Me too! I just guess it was because all my fat is turning to muscle. (I remember reading it many years ago - this was before the Internet, lol) But it's still tough to keep at it when you don't see results right away. Add me if you'd like. I'm lazy and only work out an hour 3 to 4 times a week....keep up the good work…

I was on both many years ago...there was no change in my weight at all...(but I was in my 20s and had a very high metabolism). I got back on extended release Effexor a few years ago (I'm 37 now) but it made me way too tired and with a young child, I could not take them anymore... The Dr told me a side effect IS weight…
