I have an expandable, rain resistant joggers pouch that I carry a credit card, small cash, iphone and keys.. with slots on the side for some Gu for those long runs... I am overly cautious of my phones so I put it in a sandwich bag to keep any sweat or rain from ruining it. :drinker:

Oh, my comments were not to the way he said it but the meaning behind his response. I said in another post who came across crass but the thought of not knowing what you will do is what I was getting at.
-
At last - You sir, gets the award for common sense!
-
His choice of words may have been crass but think about it; how would you know what would happen in the heat of the moment. A second lost on trying to make a decision is another second taking away from freedom.
-
He is serious and justifiable so. You can't ask a loaded question and think it amuses everyone equally. This question has no right answer unless it is "I will find out when the time comes" or "I don't know".
-
I wouldn't think about who I would save first. I would just jump into action and pray that it all works out well. Who ever I grab first is the first to be saved but is not necessarily my intended topic. From your heart you could say who you would like to save first but in the heat of the moment there is no time to think…

Yeah, I know right. The burning question is 'what did the originator ultimately do in the end'?

Friends have come into my life and left over the years. I do not believe in picking sores but if you broke off the friendship in a way that could be considered disheartening it would pay to reach out and say 'I am sorry the way I abruptly stepped away from our friendship but I just could not handle it anymore and I wish…

If you do not want big quads I would suggest more burning exercises for your quads. Meaning much lower weights and higher reps. You can get great definition and great burns. It may feel boring because the weight is initially light but as your reps increase you will feel the fatique setting in. The problem is not the…

Welcome to the real world. It is an unfortunate side effect of the world wide internet. There are those who are here to help and there are those whose whole life mission is to disrupt. You have to look pass it and find your avenue. Heck, this is the first post I have made in months because it really does not matter in the…

Just fast enough that I am not walking but slow enough not to have a heart attach. :^)

Got another 5k in this morning plus a few yards at 34:02. I hope to be hitting under 30 by January but no rush. Slow and steady gets the prize.
-
Got a 10k in this morning at a 10:55 per mile clip. I am working to get the times down one stride at a time. I will keep updating my milestones.

I added your friend as requested

Thanks for posting and I am already there :^)

This is too funny and yet familiar! I was in the bath room and a special needs kid came in with his dad to use it. The kids drops his pants around his ankles to pee and kept peeping around the corner to see what I was doing. Here I am trying to turn my back to the kid and not pee all over the wall. See how you brought back…

This is a love story that I will not allow to slip into the great beyond without allowing others to know and understand the depth of true love.

Rest day to day but I plan to walk a 5k or so this evening if the rain stops with my dog.

Training up for the Shamrock Marathon Day 1 3 miles at 11 minute pace with 15 weeks of 4 of week runs to go :^)

Wow Stacey! That is an awesome time! Wow again. Great job and did you get a medal. Would seem if you did not you at least finished in the top 10 with a time like that. Awesome indeed. That is quite motivating to see you lose over 40 lbs and run such a splendid time.

Ok, I got out of bed early since the first time in over a year (use to always get up at 4 a.m. and run but somehow that slipped away). I ran 3.17 miles this morning and it felt great outside. I kept a comfortable 11 minute mile pace so I am 13.5 minutes behind your goal of a 20 minute 5k but I am trying  Keep me…

December 2010 my best race was: Distance: 10 miles Time: 1 hour 20 Minutes Pace: Around 9:20 I have slacked off a bit on my training so my past two races (I intend to improve on so this post/topic is great for me to gage on): September 2011 Distance: Half Marathon time: 2 hours and 42 minutes Pace: Have to grab the…

Brag to me and I am impressed. This makes me want to push myself harder... wow, 22 minute 5k.. that is awesome!

The backup failed? If you purchased your apps you have not lost them (even when the purchase is a free app). You can go into itunes and first have it download all purchased apps if they have not be replicated to your pc and after that is complete plug your iphone and manage your application sync. Choose which apps you want…

I have so many I lost count. I used Run Keeper for quite a while but now I just use mapmyrun to get an idea and once I have my course set out I just go out and run it. when I am having trouble keeping my pace I will use mapmyrun in races as well. I have a few apps that tell you about lifting weights, eating right, yoga,…

This question is better answered by the now generation. We 40+ year olds just want Jeans that fit and do not ride too high or too low. I rocked whatever is comfortable, even if it is no longer in style.
