I don't wash them either because they fade. I'd rather wear smelly clothes than faded clothes! Also, I never wash my gym clothes. All the sweat I poured into them working my *kitten* off! I mean... it's like washing away a tribute to fitness!!

Taunto... You're a poet and you don't even know it!

Do it do it do it! I'm on day 3 of week 2 now and already seeing a big difference in endurance and strength (not to mention the inches!). I did the 30 day shred before this but didn't like it because my knees hurt too much. Had to stop halfway and found it a bit tedious to do 10 days of the same exercises. Ripped in 30 is…

I think it's genetic too. No one on my dad's side has big bellies and everyone on my mom's side of the family does. I used to be skinny all over except for my belly. I've always had a big belly, at my skinniest (I played badminton, ran track, gymnastics) and at my largest weight. But exercise can take care of it for sure.…

This is a recipe for Imam Bayildi. It's Turkish and super-yummy. When I make it, I use very less oil and more veggies and since I don't like cinnamon, no cinnamon. It's still fantastic though. 1 medium aubergines (eggplants) 3/4 tablespoon olive oil 1/4 onion, finely chopped 1/2 garlic, cloves crushed 1/4 green pepper…

I only weigh myself on days that I look at myself naked and feel smaller/thinner. I don't like getting on the scale and finding out I haven't lost weight or have put on weight. So far, every time I have weighed myself, I've seen weight loss!

I like to search for recipes online depending on ingredients I already have in my pantry. Lots of times, recipes call for things you'll never need again and I don't like my pantry to be overstocked. Go to allrecipes.com and search by ingredients. Include and exclude the ingredients you want and don't want respectively and…

I drink about 4-5 liters everyday. That is more than 16 cups. I get thirsty, I drink. So far, it hasn't hindered weight loss in any way. You should be fine if you get enough salt daily, which we usually do, and as long as you don't drink a gallon in about 2 hours. Drink up I say! :drinker:

All I get from the slow walking while shopping is a backache!

Hi taunto!
-
My bust girth measure went down from 40" to 37" but my cup size went up from AA to C. It's the weirdest thing. I now actually have boobs, so I love that, but now they kinda hurt when I do heavy cardio... I love-hate my new boobs I guess

Wow taunto you look sexy in your red swimsuit!

Sounds dangerously good! Thanks!

Thanks!

I got my Polar FT4 just a few weeks back from bodytronics.com for $53 (shipping included) with coupon code POPO. It looks like I might have gotten a defective piece though.

Thank you so much everyone for the information, advice and suggestions! You guys are great!

I didn't know I was supposed to subtract my resting heart rate from the total calories burned number. Thanks for that bit of information!
-
My HRM doesn't show me calories burned till I stop recording the workout. So I don't know how much time into the workout it starts counting cals burned. I set the target heart rate zone on it as 135-175. During my workouts, it shows that my heart rate is constantly between 150 and 175. Is something wrong with my target…

Height, weight and age yes. Not sex.
-
Yes I did... My age, weight, sex all those things. I don't really trust the gym machines anyway and usually discount about 30-40% of their calorie burn count, So for example when I workout really hard on the elliptical machine for an hour, I count it as 650 or so while the machine says 1000. The HRM though keeps giving me…

I usually use a small bit of toilet paper to touch the flush button/handle and quickly throw it into the toilet and let it get flushed. I didn't used to do even that before because I knew I'd be washing my hands anyway, but sometimes public restrooms don't always keep their soap dispensers refilled.

My parents had my ears pierced when I was a few months old I think. So did their parents and everyone else I know in India. Its normal there. No one I know ever had any infection or allergies that I know of (that could be because only pure 24 carat gold in the form of a wire loop is worn especially for babies). I've also…

Amazing results OP! You look fabulously fit and healthy and beautiful! I hope to have about half your fitness level soon! Congrats for your success and efforts! :drinker:

You look fantastic! You should be soooooo proud of yourself! Your effort REALLY shows! Keep up the good work!:flowerforyou: :drinker:

I had the same problem few weeks back. Now I eat a cup of carrots or shredded beetroot or a large quantity of any fruit per day or a large quantity of veggies. They are pretty low cal and they get the job done. You might also want to try beans of any kind, they tend to be high protein and high fibre and can act as a tasty…

Both my husband and I did the 30 day shred with 12 lb weights... Less than that is too less for me.
-
My husband did the 30 day shred with me. He's pretty fit too. He said it was tough and he'd be sweating buckets next to me too. He just said that the ab workout was not much of a challenge for him. 30 day shred along with some extra ab work is what he'd recommend.
-
I just did this!! And now I'm ready to die.

I sweat a lot and need a lot of activewear, so I cannot spend too much on expensive athletic wear. I buy all my stuff from Walmart. They fit great, last very very long and are also dry-fit, not to mention inexpensive.
