Oooh, this is good stuff! I've added everyone's contributions!

Thank you so much! I appreciate the suggestions and support! So far the cardio doesn't seem to be a problem (at the moment anyways). When I start hitting the gym, I will have to get my creative juices flowing. I really want to strength train my back and the muscles that my arm does have. I will just make sure that any back…

@ burstchair It's a great photo! It's a fun, but natural shot of you! (not 'forced' if that makes sense lol)

In Southwestern Ontario Canada, it is anywhere from $1.17 - $1.23 per Litre (I think there are 4 L per gallon?, so about $5 per Gal then) Ridiculous!

Glad you enjoyed it! A Bit Of Fry And Laurie is really funny! So many of the skits on You Tube too! Guaranteed night of laughter ahead! hehe

I haven't seen enough of Matt Damon's movies to sway my decision one way or another, but I can honestly say he held his own in "We Bought A Zoo". I was very impressed by his performance (got me crying too darn it lol)

I'm surprised no one has added Macaully Culkin. In all the Home Alone movies...yes, he was 'cute', but cute and bad acting are 2 different things!
-
^^^ AGREES!!!

I agree completely. At least 3x this past summer they had my poor girls convinced that there were going to be fierce tornados. Yes, the winds get bad and 'gust' up, and some of the buildings and trees get knocked down (farmer's sheds, and dead branches etc). But nothing what they proclaim as 'imminent danger' They told…

The ones that immediately come to mind are... Corey Hart's rendition of "Can't Help Falling In Love With You." Queen's "Who wants to live forever?" and REM's Everybody Hurts" (I know it's a positive message, but as a sufferer of depression, it stirs up a lot of emotion) I get a lump in my throat every time I hear them.…

Here's mine! LOL She turned 2 this past Sept (the 10th) Her nana's is the 18th, and daddy's is the 29th. It's a busy month for us! (so is October )
-
Ok...oops, I spelt it wrong though (been awhile!) I think I'll have to re-watch some of these myself (and check out Absolutely Fabulous!) Thanks! I think my fav as a kid (early to mid 80's), was Benny Hill, and Mr Bean!
-
Lol, same here! (about liking numbers/dates.) My youngest daughter shares the 10th of Sept with you, but she was so close to being 09-09-09 lol! My other 2 girls were the same story...01-03-01, 03-09-03 To help the family remember at least the dates for the oldest 3 kids, I suggested remembering 3 x 9 = 27 (my son's is the…

mybeach27 Please forgive me, but I don't know her name. First person I thought of though was that lovely British woman from So You Think You Can Dance. She introduces them, let's everyone know the numbers to call etc Gorgeous!

OIC....well, I highly recommend the above mentioned shows then. They're a bit dated now, but FUNNY!! It's also cool to see Mr Hugh before he was Dr [H]ouse  THEN NOW
-
Rowan Atkinson (speaking of Black Adder) is among those who 'top' the British humour list! :0)
-
I LOVE ABOFAL!!! Hugh and Stephen are a great duo. I enjoyed the Jeeves & Wooster series too! The pic is Hugh from Black Adder yes? Tracy

WOO HOO! It's a good day indeed!

They are good....because they're obtainable (imo). It doesn't make it so big and overwhelming feeling. I put off doing this for the longest time because I thought it would be too hard. The most I've had to lose before was 20-25 lbs.....not 55+ like I do this time. It is good you recognize that 'harmful' behaviour in…

I have suffered from major depression since childhood, and have found as an adult now, it has become harder to manage. I take Paxil 20mg for it daily, and although I don't believe it's caused any weight gain, or inability to lose weight itself (the meds), it also only keeps my mood stable (Keeps me from not just staying in…

lmao!!! The only thing that saved me from being scared half to death was my cursor rolled over it, so I thought I'd done it lol Good one! Tracy

<< October 3rd here

It's a feeling that grows as time passes,....not fades. ..and if it is taken away from you, it's like a piece of you has been too. You can still function, but you're always aware of/feel the loss. You feel like you both are the same person. For example, I remember working one evening, and had a sudden shot of fear go…

Most of mine are medical, but they definitely count as interesting! 1. << That is my back. I was born with a scoliosis of the spine. I had rods placed in 84'ish (this radiograph was taken less then 2 years ago, and so it was the first time I've ever seen my back. It looks nothing like I thought it would/should lol. 2. I…
