I rotate between Better Oats oatmean (cinnimon roll, maple & brown sugar, and blueberry muffin are my favorite flavors) Oikos greek yougurt with quick oats mixed in, and half a grape fruit. If you don't like it, why bother eating it? Won't taking an omega supplement be just as effective?

The right side of my hip is out of alignment and it causes my knee and ankle on that side to be in more pain. I'm able to run, but if its really bad, the elliptical is nice. The other suggestions that I read before mine sound good as well.

There are online calculator that will give you a rough estimate based off your measurements. Calipers, those hand held body fat calculators, will give you a estimate. I think the most accurate is when you sit in water and they measure how much gets displaced, not sure exactly what its called or where you can get it done.

Nope! Even though you are a parent, you deserve a little time to yourself! Suggest to your husband and kids to get you like a spa certificate, and go relax there! They want to spend time with you though because obviously they love you!

Odd. Its good to wait a few hours after eating to run, and you're doing that. If you are eating for energy before your run, get simple carbs, like white bread, etc so your stomach can break it down faster. I avoid sugary stuff as well. Could it be gas as well? If its lady time you could just be bloated/gassy :embarassed:

It's horrible for the grass. The main ingredient in dog food SHOULD be meat (unless you buy a cheap brand like Iams or Purina etc, then its ground corn) and that is not good fertilizer. Plus it gets into the water supply, AND GETS ON PEOPLES SHOES!!!

My 3 legged westie once dragged a 5 pound weight from one room to the other. I was thoroughly impressed as that was 1/3 his body weight.

Exactly!! I am 109 size 2 but there are people bigger than me who look better because they have lower body fat! If I took a picture of my stomach you'd think I'd weigh more. Right now its a combination of bloat/food/fat. blegh

I bought a spaghetti portion thing at Bed Bath and Beyond. Its pretty helpful. About 1 serving is about the diameter of a keyring or quarter.

Being sore means you pushed your body to the limits. And you are building strength. However, listen to your body if you feel it is time to stop. Rest up, and eat right afterwards.

I Would also wait and see when you drop more weight. Your measurements are hourglass. But maybe when more fat comes off you will get a more accurate 'shape'? For instance, my mom was hourglass, but she put on weight and now is more of an apple or pear shape. If she lost she'd get her shape back.
