Couch to 5k is usually 3 days per week. Perhaps you could go on walks with your Grandma on the other days. I think that compromise is more than reasonable.

I give myself one day off working out. One day during the weekend I still drag my butt out there and do my exercise. Carbohydrates. Basically is it made with starch? Is it bread, pies (omg meat pies I love you), pasta, pizza, cookies, muffins, pastries, chips, crackers, potatoes, cakes, etc? They are all my downfall. My comfort. My enemy.

Today I did a walk that was twice as far as what I have been walking. When I first started I had been struggling to do that little walk. Today I felt amazing.

I just moved to a new place. I mapped out an exciting new walking route on google maps that was twice as long as what I was doing and got really excited about it. It was really cool looking at new places and learning about the town I moved to. That motivated me to go out on my long walk.
