Hi! I guess I am technically not a kiwi but I do live in NZ and my husband is a kiwi! :P I just moved here from New York and I'd love some support from other people living here. I live near Motueka and I love it here. I am over halfway through my weight loss journey but I'm looking for some motivation to finish the last…

Hi! I am not a kiwi (I'm from NY) but I just moved to New Zealand with my kiwi husband. I guess I qualify, right? :) Add me if you'd like. I'd love to make some new friends here in NZ.

I try to spread them out pretty evenly and ideally try to plan to have more earlier in the day so I have more opportunity to burn it off. It doesn't always work out that way. It is always changing depending on when I am hungrier. Sometimes I'm more hungry at breakfast than lunch and other days it's the opposite. I listen…

People noticed at about 20-30 pounds. That's when I bought some new clothes, too. Since then I've had to buy a bunch of new clothes since none of my clothes fit anymore! Keep up the great work! :)

Here are some things that come to mind. I always plan ahead when I know I will be eating out. I look up nutritional information online. Watch out for that sodium when eating out. It can be a killer. Always drink lots of water with your meal. Ordering water cuts calories considerably. You can usually special order things…

My latest one was fitting into a size 10 pants. I used to be a size 16 in the same brand when I started in November.

Unfortunately, as much as you want to help her, she is not going to receive your advice until she is ready. She has to be ready to give 100% or it is not going to happen. I know it is hard to be very motivated and seeing results and want the same for someone who you are very close with but unfortunately you are only in…

I don't own a bathing suit that fits me anymore. My last one fit me almost 50 pounds ago now. Maybe my challenge is to go buy one!
-
You look fantastic! I love your suit! :)

You look amazing! Wonderful!! :flowerforyou:

Why not plan out how many pieces you are going to have beforehand and log it now? That way you know how much you will have left for the rest of your day and you can plan accordingly? :)

Personally I would give it more than 2 days so that your body can adjust. Breaking through a plateau can take more than that once you switch things up. Why not give it a couple weeks eating back those exercise calories. I did that. I gained weight at first but then once my body adjusted the weight started pouring off…

I didn't even realize that last week we were supposed to measure. I must have missed the memo. I haven't been on my computer much lately. I will measure and send them today. I sent my weight in last week all oblivious.

Perhaps my favourite is using hummus instead of mayo.

Once a week. I've been known to peek a couple times per week, though.

You look so fantastic! I hope you win! :)

You rock, Sarah! You can do this! :)

Not believing in myself anymore.

My goal is 150lb. It puts me just at a healthy weight on the BMI scale and it's 5 pounds heavier than what I weighed in high school. I figure I can get there and then adjust as I see fit.

You look fantastic! Great job so far! :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

I was wondering what the difference was too. I have been spinning for a few months now and I'm super addicted! :D

I burned 600 calories in 40 minutes yesterday. Some people burn more. That's possible, I believe. I personally think the HRMs with a chest strap are the most accurate you can get unless you set it up wrong. I have a Polar HRM with a chest strap and it's the best investment I've made in my journey so far besides my gym…
