I once heard that phrase, "Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, dinner like a pauper." I don't know if there's any health merit in following that advice, but personally, I feel better when i have a nice big breakfast (big being calorie-heavy, like 400-450---usually oatmeal with protein powder, honey, banana, etc.)…

I have a navel ring, no tatts tho. I'm really interested in getting one, but considering my job goals, and the consideration that this desire to have one might pass...i think i'm going to hold out and let it pass.

I have the same problem, but for me it's not so much the late-night eating as much as it is just the psychology of eating after having hit the "complete entry" button. I'm less inclined to log stuff i snack on in the small hours of the morning because I've already hit "complete", so in my mind those extra snacks don't feel…

I don't get the whole "it's fine if it's in your head" thing. I'm battling a cold right now...and the combination of lightheadedness, congestion blocking my nose, sore throat making my mouth dry....I have no idea how it's possible to work out in this condition!! It's a cold. Take those 3 days off! Go for a walk instead!

I've come to rely on Sugar Free popsicles. only 15 cals each, and they take a few minutes to eat so they're more satisfying than popping a candy or something into your mouth. Plus I'm sure the kids would love them!

BUMP! I'm having the same problem!! It seriously sometimes looks like a barely pregnant belly (tho trust me, i'm not!) when I look down at it. When I flex my abs, it's flat, but otherwise my tummy is round and bloated. I'm totally in the same boat.

I'm 22! Just graduating from college this May. I don't have quite that much left to lose (for my goal, I have about 3 to go, but I'd push for a bit more if I make it there soon!). I'm off this year traveling and living overseas, so I'm trying to establish good habits--not to mention starting the adventures feeling good…

You should try "Better N' Peanut Butter". It's soooooo yummy. You can get reduced sodium, chocolate, normal, etc. and 2TBS is only 100 calories!

Bump. I'm sure I'll be told just to wait a little longer for results to show, but I upped my calories last Monday (April 2) from 1500 to 1650, and I've seen zero change (no gain nor loss). Interested to see what folks say!

No Sugar Added Fudgesicles, or Sugar-Free Popsicles!!

i'm not fat, and never have been...but... I was stretching at the community center gym, and this old man walks by and says "Wow, I wish I could do that. Were you a dancer or something?" I said yeah, I still do ballet. "You're a little big for a ballerina, aren't ya?" That's the most I've ever heard about my weight. It kind…

maybe not shaving my legs...but I wear a tinted moisturizer so i don't look like a pasty mess...and just this morning I was thinking what a workout it was to put it out, having to rub it on until it's fully absorbed, no streaks, etc. I almost start to sweat!! I'll have to think of the leg-shaving workout next time I'm due…

i log everything....but if it's something as negligible as one piece of celery, don't worry about it...(I had a bite of a macaroon today, hated it, threw it away...didn't log that...:P) but anything more than that, i'd try to log. that's the whole point.

that I'm off to Morocco this summer!!

Orrr, since that gets boring....:P I'm the queen of one-skilet cooking! Throw some onions in to caramelize, then protein (chicken? ground beef? tofu?), whatever vegetables you have, sun dried tomatoes, garlic....endless combo possibilities! Takes a bit of prep time, but it's worked well for me as a lone eater. Plus there's…

I live alone at school, so I'm a big fan of getting the individual filets of frozen fish. Salmon, tilapia, cod...easy to put over rice or a bed of spinach, or with steamed frozen veggies..! The filets thaw within minutes, so don't have to think about it far in advance.

i definitely do that. it's usually something along the lines of..."I have the big assignment to take of. Oh, hmmm..I'm hungry." Surprise surprise.
